Good day Nairalanders...
My name is Jennifer and I reside in Owerri, Imo state.
I am a school certificate holder with little hope of tertiary education.
Someone advised me to open a Nairaland account and ask for help, so I'm new here.
With the assurance I was given, I promise to testify here, if I get my breakthrough from Nairaland.
Why I came writing this now is because I lost my job as a cleaner at one of First Bank branches in Owerri.
The area manager came to our branch 2 weeks ago and after a series of complaints about almost everything that day, I was relieved of my job.
It still beats my imagination why I was singled out to be sacked.
Why me?
Why just me?
I still can't bear it up till now, since I fend for myself.
The money I have with me is fast running out and I desperately need a job from a good samaritan reading this now.
Please, if anyone can help me get a good paying job or connect me with someone who can give me a good job IN OWERRI, IMO STATE, I will forever be grateful.
I know this is risky, but I need help desperately, hence, I am putting up my number for possible contact and help.
I am not a sex-worker please and I will never be one, I only need a decent job.
So please, I pray no one misunderstands my intentions.
May God almighty reward those who will run to my aid at this frustrating moment of my life, Amen!
My number is 08172982883.
God bless you.

A school certificate holder with "Smarting English" and superb composition.. you truly are rare in this era when 98% of WAEC/GCE takers fail woefully. write/publish a book on amazon.. your short story alone is captivating for a nollywood reprieve wink

You appear to be a nice girl. I pray that God answers your prayer in a bigger way.

If you. An read this, try and open a NEW THREAD with a new subject. That way, your request will get wider publicity. Also be mindful of scammers and people who take advantage of young girls. They are more here.

As long as d guy Walked at least 70% of the road, he try. This man's deternination is exemplified in this crazy idea that has made him famous, just like the desert warrior jibunoh. His Feat gives me, a historian an idea of how migration took place, and pre colonial movement. So for instance it makes sense that the edos could establish a military out post in Lagos and summon them in less than a week. So cheat or no cheat, he got off his ass, that sparked a debate, and would eventually lead him to meet buhari and get an appointment probably in sports or sumtin. He is a symbol of purpose, determination , perseverance and ultimately Glory, nsync with the Buhari brand

I don't believe this guy, 12 hours trekking from Lagos to Ibadan! Which parts of Lagos was his take off point? Even if he were staying on the outskirts, can a human being trek 12 hours non stop? Even a machine will need some form of recuperation or rest, whether he's fulani or whatever tribe its not possible. Lagos Ibadan expressway alone sef you can't do that in 12 hours on FOOT. An educated mind is skeptical we have to ask questions contrary to the criticism of some calling us bad belle's for asking questions. You can't just accept assertions without question.

Let us put it in perspective: I live in Aguda, Surulere; my office is off Adeniran Ogunsanya street, Surulere. Distance between this 2 points (as the crow flies) is about 2.4Km. I have repeatedly made that walk to the office in less than 30mins.Most times leisurely. My point? 160km can be done in less than 13hrs. I have also walked from Iponrin (Ebutte-Meta) to Ajose Adeogun (V.I) an 11-12km stretch (again as the crow flies) in less than 3hours. I still trek long distances. His story is very believable, very achievable within the 20 days.

Lagos to Ibadan is 2hrs by car, so why is 13hrs too much?
2hrs at an average speed of 80kph...the fastest man runs at 28kph tops...use ur head do the rest.
