election was massively rigged in every region since 1999 and no major opposition party.. Even if ibos didn't vote any of those mentioned, they would still win massively in that region.
This 2015 election shows nothing but how bigoted the ibos are... Deal with it.

What I don't understand is why the term bigot is being reserved for the Igbo only, why have you not also called the people of the NW bigots since they voted massively for Buhari in the same 2015 elections you used as reference point?

Most of you are bastards! How can you say Igbos are haters when it is clear they are the ones suffering the hatred of other Nigeria who are obviously jealous of an extraordinarily blessed tribe. We embrace everyone that's why we move around easily and live everywhere without fear or favour. But because we are made to shine, when we start shining people around us will get envious. Naturally we are a very busy people. How would we have time to hate? It's other retarded, idle ethnic groups that get green with envy when they see our achievements. They are mad because their women are easy preys to the opulence and the strength of character of the igbos, even though igbos do not even consider them worthy and hardly marry such women.
Oh dear!

However long you have been here is irrelevant you are still human with human prejudice and a human tendency to seek evidence to confirm your bias and ignore evidence that refutes it.Without data your claim lacks objectivity. It is no more meaningful than saying I have been a Nigerian since 1960 so give me credit whan I tell you Ibos are dishonest

1. Nothing wrong with people making demands for the development of their geopolitical zones. What is ridiculous is that when others were working to bring the current platform on which the Igbos are making the demand to, to reality, the Igbos worked against it. So morally speaking, why will you make demands when you worked against the platform?

2. "Although, larger percentage of Igbo's voted for GEJ, some majority yet voted for GMB."....this is the root of self deciet. What do you mean larger percentage...and majority as corollary in the same sentence But that said, what you fail to realise is that there are consequences for actions and inactions. The issue is the East voted against APC

3. Its unfortunate that some group of people have come to not trust the party spearheaded by some core Islamists ...this is one of the senseless speeches that has no veritable validity, yet you folks clung unto. What do you mean by Islamists?

4. If you lot believed you're cursed never to know failure, then continue with your ways........

pjc:
What is wrong with people making demands for the development of their geopolitical zones. Is it not embodied within the same Nigeria we want in general to be a developed nation? Although, larger percentage of Igbo's voted for GEJ, some majority yet voted for GMB. Do you punish those for the 'sins' of the others? Should there be even a punishment after all? Its unfortunate that some group of people have come to not trust the party spearheaded by some core Islamists, yet most Yoruba's that attributed APC to Bokoharam yet voted them in at the last minute.
The core truth is this, whether the demands are met or not, what is will always be. Some people are cursed to never know failure. The table can always be turned, and demands will still come from the North and West when that happens just as it did during GEJ.
I wish Bihari well with his administration, at least no one has sworn yet to frustrate his efforts. Two wrongs don't a make a right. I just hope he delivers on his mandate to all, or might end up being Nigeria s last democratic president.

Bros,

This spirit of your is what I pray many younger generation of Igbos should imbibe and emerge as leaders of the tribe. I fear for the Igbos, cos they have some catching up to do. When you don't forgive/forget and move on, you simply hurt yourselves

JoeCutie:
I'm Igbo, but I swear to God, I don't know who these "Ndigbo" of an organization are. So after rallying for votes for Jonathan, they come back now with this?

You don't have your cake and eat it. They drew a line when they almost threw Buhari off balance with their sentimental votes. How can you make such funny demands from someone you didn't vote for?

For us Igbos, whatever we see in this dispensation, we take. We brought this upon ourselves. undecided

Next time they'll sheepishly & sentimentally follow Jonathan and his cohorts. Rubbish!!! undecided

Ndigbo, it's time to man up & face the music.
It's just so unfortunate that we have some hungry & greedy old men representing us under the disguise of "Ndigbo". Who are these Ndigbo again? I'm Igbo, but I'm seriously not part of all these rubbish. The funny thing is whatever money that comes their way, they chop alone. Busy body! undecided

The APC should do an introspection to find out why the planned merger with APGA failed. Did they meet the wrong people? Were they diplomatic in their approach? What was the terms of agreement? And so on. It is only then that the APC should know why the merger failed and try to improve upon it. This was what was done when the initial planned merger between ACN and CPC didn't pull through.

APC shouldn't play the tribal card you are suggesting lest it will crumble. Just my humble advice.

APGA did not join the merger because they are unrealistic and made foolish demands

You are entitled to your own opinion but can you see why we are worried with the way things are going? Nobody is talking of the NW, just check all the threads on the political board and see that over 60% is about the Igbo and the question is why? Why is it that everything that happens in this country ends up being narrowed down to the Igbo?

No it isn't. If Buhari and APC are wise politicians, they should strive to win the love of the SE region. This way APC will have a national appeal and not an ethnic party (yoruba+hausa party) appeal that it is at the moment..

Do you reason with your anus? Of the present 6 geo-political regions of this country, the APC has an impressive spread in 4 and you call that an ethnic party? Some here needs his head examined. The APC need not win any set of bigots to its side. Let them go to hell or do their worst.

it's because the presence of people from NW is not much online.

And 2, even when NW lost out in 2011, they didn't go about making meaningless demands from GEJ.. They are not all over the Internet acting as if they own the country or country owns them something... They respect themselves and that's why others respect them unlike ibos.

NDIGBO is a platform for airing real and perceived grievances. It is not a platform for an IGBO Ideal or IGBO Nationalism. if it was, her strategy will not be so obvious and so tacit. There is no element of unity as a philosophy or nationalistic ideal. it is just a bunch of small-minded elites and opportunists that claim to represent the yearnings of NDIGBO. Brothers! we need to root this Ideal from the bottom up not the top to bottom. the Head of the Fish gets rotten first.

APC never sidelined the SE, it's the igbos that have shown unwarranted hate towards the party. When APC was being formed, APGA was invited but they pulled out at the last minute, everything was done during the campaign to appease the igbos but they wouldn't have it. They even voted massively out of hate against Ngige despite the promise of the senate presidency. What more could have been done?

Igbos have an history of being unreasonably hateful and ungrateful, I don't see the hatred going away even if buhari transforms the SE into a paradise. IMHO, buhari and the APC do not need to appeal to the igbos in anyway, they should be the least prioritised if there's anything!

The one group that needs that appeasal is the south south. This is because they contribute immensely to the economy and do not practice the politics of bitterness like the igbos. It was understandable that they voted for their son in the just concluded election and even at that, they gave GMB more votes than the SE. Talk about crying more than the bereaved.

With the nigerdelta votes in the bag, the igbo votes becomes completely irrelevant as the worst that can happen is what we witnessed during the election.

Like every other region in nigeria, the SE will feel the wind of change but they should forget any special treatment or prioritised developmental projects. "Every region will be positively affected" that's the best you can get.

The Lord of the universe shall bless you beyond your expectations. The I gbos should constitute the least worry of any sane government. They've shown their card, Let them stick to it without adopting any subtlety that won't impress anybody.

Boo-hari and APC can go to hell for all I care!

Any sensible Igbo person should know that the incoming government and APC does not and will never care about the welfare of the Igbos.

Please my dear Igbo men and women, let us stop begging for what is supposedly rightly ours. Let us ALL unite and demand from the rest of the world our dear Sovereign state of Biafra. The current forced union called Nigeria is not and will never be in our collective interests.

Let us stop entertaining fears about the workability of Biafra. Our determination and collective actions will surely see us emerge as a strong and viable nation that will become the envy of the rest of the world.

Nigeria as it is presently constituted is not for us! The earlier we understand this and jointly push for Biafra the better for us.

A word is enough for the wise!

Sometimes people talk as if they are under the influence of alcohol. That they (Ibos) voted for a person of their choice now makes them less Nigerians, and deviod of value. You guys should always sound a bit educated for God sake and banish hatred from your blood. They are Nigerians and have equal right to make their needs known to the federal government as democracy demands.

You mean APGA knew better than the ACN, CDC and ANPP that these three failed to see what Apga saw? Stop deceiving yourself, I gbos play the politics of hatred and bigotry. It is hereditary in them. Azikiwe and his minions did it many times to spite the Yoruba but the former always came out the worst for it. If Ngige had contested on the platform of APGA or even PDP, he would've won the election but they voted against him for, according to them, associating with the Yoruba through CAN and Tinuba. In their warped perception, ACN and Tinubu made the APC a Yoruba party. APC has better things to do than to waste time doing retrospection on Igbo matters arising from the elections. They are irrelevant. Period. Without their votes, anyday anytime, The APC will win. Let them play the opposition. It's no more than they deserve.
