Itsekiri is most closely related to the South Eastern Yoruba dialects with which it shares close similarity in grammar, lexicon and syntax. Itsekiri represents one end of a continuum of Yoruba dialects from the westermost and northern Yoruba lands, to the western reaches of the Niger-Delta. There is the indigenous dialect of each yoruba area.
But all yoruba's speak ONE SINGLE yoruba.

First, Itshekiri is not a yoruba dialect. It is a full language on its own. Second, there is not but one bit of Itshekiri trace in Rivers state. Or, is this your sleek way of trying to claim oil-rich Rivers State?

The Edekiri languages are spoken in a band across Togo, Benin and Nigeria. The group includes:

the Ede dialect cluster, including Ife;
Itsekiri (Nigeria, 500,000 speakers); and
