Airtel, if you know what to expect from them u would enjoy dem, if u r android plan 2gb for 2k do all your downloads from 9pm till 6am,normal billing from 6.01am till 8.59pm na double billing, if it's blackberry subscription on Android devices, strictly double billing,
4gb =2gb
2gb=1gb
1gb=500mb
It's all about knowing airtel...

mtn 4.5 G for #2500 is cheaper.

You all have never used SMILE LTE. Airtel has nothing on them!

You're meaning to say that smile zapps data? I thought they're a broadband provider with no data cap. Chai! God save me oh... I was planning to try them out next week.

Well said, mtn is the king but thanks to the other networks who brought in competition.

Nice game, am really impressed. Kudos to the developers.

U people shud fear etisalat too. The difference btw airtel and etisalat is that for airtel, u are convinced they are zapping ur data but for etisalat, u just cant believe it. Na like v.i babe and oshodi babe eating roasted 'agbado', u wont bat an eyelid for one but for the other u just cant believe it.

I have long discovered that u can't use Airtel or MTN '1G' to download a 700MB file,havent tried it with etisalat, Glo seems the best to me

Amongst the 4 major network providers in the country of MTN, Airtel, Glo and Etisalat, here is the ranking of the network that consumes most data from the highest to the lowest so that you will be fully aware when planning to subscribe to any of their internet plans.

1. Number one in the list is Airtel- airtel zaps data like hell, I am sure they are using malfunctioned calculator to calculate data rate

2. Second in the list is Etisalat - I don't know if it is because the network is fast so the zaps data as fast as their network, but not up to Airtel the king zappers.

3. Glo data actually do not zap, the data deduction is quite normal but just be ready for sharp network disappearance at any time whenever you are making use of glo.

4. MTN is the least of them, they don't zaps data at all, they use proper working data calculator to calculate data consumption rate and hence taking the spot for the least data zappers.

Lmao @ airtel zaps data like hell, I am sure they are using malfunctioned calculator to calculate data rate grin

The last time I used airtel network to browse, I was beginning to think the phone was leaking mb anytime I touch it even after I had switched off the data

U got me laughing there with your phone leaking data. I think they have a different meter from mtn, I guess they have considered that in their extra data bonuses. Everything about them is just so different, I wonder why they don't want to introduce datashare Sme.

It is not their fault. We are in a country where you don't get value for whatever you pay for.

What is the job of those so called regulators?

I have been on airtel postpaid for about 4 years now for both airtime and bundle. But this month (April ) I had a sad experience. My monthly bundle is 2 gb and the airtime is 10k. The surprising thing is, on the 1st of this month airtel zapped my 2 gb and the 10k airtime in one day. I rushed to their office the next day, I lodged a complain but did not get any satisfactory answer so there and then I asked them to unsubscribe me pronto. I am now on mtn.

Very good ranking!. I also discovered MTN bills appropriately for data use, unlike others. Etisalat is the second best biller by my experience, just as you said.

In as much as I have a soft spot for glo,I must admit that they have by far the worst Internet reliability of all the networks, and yes Airtel zaps data like it's going out of fashion,lol,for reliability Etisalat is by far the best..MTN,neither here nor there,which is just as well,I've never trusted them anyway..
Re: Ranking Of Networks that Zaps Data The Most, From Heighest To Lowest by threadstone(m): 7:14pm On Apr 22, 2015
You tend to do more when you have a faster data connection. At least android users can compare the network data usage with what the device says it has consumed..

For me etisalat may be pricey, but dont say it consumes data absurdly, check what youve been doing

Airtel data consumption na baba. The network sucks data so much, though its bis can still be managed on Android with some restrictions.
