IdiAmin1:.....keep reasoning like a toddler....once again, circumstances were different.that was why you got two different results.how many pdp govs won an election for pdp in the north?.lets see who will still be relevant politically in few years among PEJ,wike and Amechi.then you will know, the guy is a winner. |

IdiAmin1:Simple reason. You guys in Rivers are so naive and clannish beyond imagination. You are not used to assertive, reassured, exposed, civilised kind of leadership. You think all is about Rivers, Bayelsa, Ijaw and Ikwerre. Amaechi is hated just for one reason, because he supported a northerner against a SON OF THE SOIL. What a myopic thinking. I hear a lot of Rivers people calling him a traitor. What an absurd way of reasoning. And it's all because of Patience Jonathan. As I speak to you go to Bayelsa where the president comes from and see the level of acceptance of the APC and Buhari there. You guys are crying more than the bereaved. One piece of information for you. In barely 6 months time you will see how the profile of this man you guys have so painted black soar high than anybody to have come out this your region and you will all recognise the importance of building bridges and networking. I am seeing a situation like a vision where all aspiring leaders from the south south will see Amaechi as their role model and the region will be looking up to him for political relevance. The world is going global and only those who see the larger picture will be able to survive and move along. |

LasgidyPort:The Truth Point of correction, tell them to tell themselves - Igbos to pick up some well written and detailed Nigeria history books written by unbiased foreign Journalists and read thoroughly instead of picking bigoted self acclaimed historian like- Chinua Achebe who wrote junks with undiluted and profound sentiment. (It's shameful to see an Icon/well respected elderly person among today's youth who had chosen to tour the path of bigotry, tribal lies and deceit - Chinua Achebe). Apart from that books, tell me one single thing, he is known for outside Igbo land? Absolutely nothing. Just before I go, permit to chip this in, if there were ills of civil war that need to be forgotten, please, place that request at the door steps of Nigeria soldiers and civilians who were mercilessly killed by Biafra soldiers and of course the family of Northern, Western and Middle belt leaders who were butchered by Igbo military officers just before the civil war. Finally, appeal to Igbos from now till Kingdom comes, Northerners will never forgive them and it's obvious in their reaction whenever they start their madness in the North. You know why, Igbos are loud and equally have access to d media with which they used to scream blue murder at any slightest fight but which Northerners don't. The Northerners are hurt as much as Igbos are hurt but as long as you all think that Igbos are the ones that need to be appealed to simply cos they know how to shout, Nigeria ll never know peace. South West seems more socially and civilly advanced when it comes to issue like this unlike the other two regions. Igbos killed their own leaders in the coup too but they chose to forget it, accommodate the same people in their land without any attack and pretend as if nothing happen; good for them. Na them Sabiii!!! However, the reprisal attack by Hausass/Fulanis/Kanuris on Igbos which led to pogrom was inhuman and barbaric. The killing of Northern, Western and Middle belt leaders and their wives by Igbo military officers was absolutely unacceptable and barbaric on its own. With this on the negotiating table at all time, everybody will have sense of belonging and be happy. Always remember that to every action, there must be a reaction. And there 200% possibility that reaction to action could be much more brutal than action. Stay clear from any unnecessary action that might trigger another man reaction. God bless Nigeria. Peace out. |

So that APC Rat called Okorocha won? Imo people are failing my hand. Okorocha was the last APC stooge in the South east and Im thoroughly disappointed that he is still there. SS/SE are not part of this APC nonsense. It far better to keep our dignity in opposition than to part of this Buhari-personality-cult-worship-class called APC. As for Okorocha, he will later found be out that the Hausa/Yoruba organisation called APC will never give an Igbo man the presidential ticket, not in a million years. So whatever presidential aspirations he has is already dead. Oh well,if the people of Imo want Okorocha, they can have him. Outside Imo state, Okorocha is a nobody. |

dutchjongen:Rochas was essentially sacked by President Obasanjo for disagreeing with the then President's Third Term ambition. I am not arguing Rochas is incorruptible but to state that Obasanjo sacked someone over his corruption is as laughable as it is untrue. |

handsometokunbo:This long epistle of yours is unnecessary. The simple truth about Nigeria is that it is a country only on paper. It is nowhere near being a nation. The White mans contraption called 'Nigeria' should be divided and let everyone go there separate ways. The Hausa/Yoruba/Igbo man are not built to be together in the same country. All we have done since 1960 is kill each other and millions have died in the process of holding Lord Lugards mistake called 'Nigeria' together. The real truth is that we should all go separate ways and stop giving each other unnecessary headache. |
