I would have made a comment on this but since I work with them my review may not hold water

I think you should still give your review. I expect other members to chip in their opinion s should they disagree or agree.

I've got the investment one forms and as I have a GTB account am thinking they 'lol be as useful and efficient.

Interest rates, charges etc?

interest rate is the same everywhere because tbills is sold by FG and not individual companies, you also have the option to place your bid your self

Thanks but what about your charges?

And sound really general. Can you go into more depth?

When's the next auction? And what is the rate range likely to be?

Please, could you tell me more about the FG bond.
I want to know if that would be a better option because i just recieved an alert from first bank for the last auction but the interest was too poor to compare to the previous.
so i want to diversify.

Now guys i need your help. I have t.bill with first bank for 91days which will mature on june. And now i want to terminate it upon maturity but the problem now is that when i was filling the form, i ticked 'rollover the capital' upon maturity. So i want to ask, can i terminate the t.bill at the maturity date without affecting my initial capital?

I have seen the alert, got the same rate for 1year. I was eyeing 14%. I am happy with it because this was my first bidding, I was doing Fixed deposit with my money all my life, never knew something like this existed. This is really cool for people that have idle cash or saving for something. Tbills is the best.

It is quite simple, go to the branch before the maturity date and give instruction not to roll over on maturity. it won't affect your initial capital as long as you allow it to reach the maturity date.

Yes, i agree with you. But the last auction i got 14.15 for a year, and that was awesome!
I thought it would still be like that in this auction, but i hav been disappointed
But it is still better than fixed deposite shah...

My bank offered me 13% for 182 days a while ago n I refused! Damn it... The rates are going soo low. Time to go back to my 91days or just see how things play out after the election.

Another learner smiley .
1) you should take your time to read from page 1.

2)bond and Tbills are different investment vehicle.

3) you can invest In bond through a financial institution.

4) you can get more useful info on this thread from Page 1 to the current page.

My Advice: take your time to read from page 1 so you don't lose your money (few people here understand).

Well this is not a thread for Bond I'll have to create one to help you guys.
