Not only does it happen in Nigeria, I have several pictures from the Iriabo ceremony at Okrika to support its veracity! I'm not even sure this is an Ogoni pix, cause it's mainly a Riverine tradition common to Okrikans and Kalabari people! Krikeni se!!!

It's mainly for the Iriabo ceremony (celebration of virgins and the coming of womanhood) and doesn't occur as frequently these days! My aunty won a price for the "best brea'sts) during her time!

This picture is gotten from South African 'Virginity Test Festival' During this festival, those that claimed to be virgin are expected to come out and prove their virginity, after wish a certificate is being giving to those confirmed as virgins.
However, so many has written against such practice, considering the way and manner of which such test are being carried out.
Ogoni People are not this myopic in reasoning.
