TRUE LIFE STORY

A man 45 who has suffered several disappointments from women finally made up his mind to remain single. Meanwhile, the parents never stop to remind him the need for him to get married.

During his annual leave, he went to the village but to his surprise his parent (mother) told him that they have found a wife for him. He thought it was a joke, and jokingly he replied that he doesn’t need any woman anymore because they are full of deceit.
The mother made him known how serious she was, and then he allowed the mother to send for the lady. When the lady arrived he could not believe his eyes how small in age he thought the lady was and correctly she was too young for him.

After talking to the lady he found out that the lady was 17 years old and was then sitting for her wassce.

Having known her age, the surprising question he asked the girl was “didn’t you think I’m too old for you?” but the girl replied “I don’t know o, your mother has been telling me about you for some time now and besides your uncle came to my father on this issue and he accepted; so I have no option of mine own”.

If you are the man will you go ahead with the marriage knowing that the person in question is a child not a lady?

If you are the girl will you go ahead and marry someone that is old enough to be your father?
