ECOTERRORS: Hian! Lemme please get something clear - is it igbo against every other tribes in Nigeria or is it igbo against Muslims? Cos every igbo I have talked with have shown more or less that it's them against Muslims. One even said Roch as is no longer and igbo man but a northerner. Why? because he built a mosque in govt house. Please o, is the igbo race now custodians of Christianity? U think all of North is Islam dominated? And any beef against the north also includes we Christians here. Back to the topic- I believe the fault are with the igbo leaders. It's been 16years, and u mean no igbo leader or body has raised the issue to d point of national concern! Haba! It's not Nigeria u should blame. Na igbo u suppose blame. Cos is obvious that when they get there, cash flows, they forget about their people completely. Gbam. So I am compelled to believe that with the igbos, money talks 6 Likes |

Until we have a centralized biometric database where true birth and death records are listed, we will continue to believe in the fraudulent statistics extrapolated from cooked up figures by the Northerners in their favor. My solace is that they are not doing better, they are still the ones giving birth like goats in Sambisa forest even when their brothers have 82% control of the Oil from the South. 2 Likes |

I don't need to describe Kaduna for you! I was born there and can speak Hausa probably as well or better than you! I also don't need to lie to justify anything! I can bet you are an armchair critic who hasn't been to Rivers State!!! Even if you have, you probably were limited in scope! I probably know Kaduna more than you! Don't get me started! abduljabbar4: |

Bants: Hmmm... I disagree with ur calculation, with due respect. Looking at Nigeria as divided by political zoning, it's wrong to call the entire north Hausa. Please enquire and see how much of the north west and North Central are hausas. It's like saying SS along with SE are igbos. Please correct facts matter. I agree that igbos should have an extra state created to Balance each zone as 6 states. But no mischief in arguments 1 Like |

A bad looser is always a bad looser, what you fail to point out is the fact that, the North has more people than the south, u don't need to Google anything by merely looking at the our map you will understand that take for instance Niger state has a total area of 76,363 km2 (29,484 sq mi) compare to the south eastern states ( consisting of more than 6 states plus delta and river state inclusive) has only 16,000 sq mi (40,000 km2) http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igboland What this means is, going by the way they partition the south east, 6 states can be created from Niger state alone and don't forget Niger state was formally part of sokoto state, a state like bayelsa has only 3 LGA but Abacha partition or created 8 out of that 3 LGA just to give them state and mind you they are not upto a million, if we will go by population or land mass the north has been cheated in so many ways just for the purpose of one nigeria, remember, democracy is about representing people equally, and there must be a yardstick for the purpose of fairness and justice, if number of population will be a yardstick I think there will be more states in the north than the south like wise if we are to use land mass same thing will happen, op is a bad looser that enjoy deceiving people, he fail to tell people that most European country are just like one state here in nigeria or a zone and most of the have almost equal number of tribe, let's assume what op said is true for purpose of argument, we have 250 languages minus dialects, how can we create reps or senate based on tribe? Or how can we create states based on number of tribes? Adamawa state has 75 different ethnic goups are u telling me that Adamawa alone will produce 75 senate and reps? Or 75 states? It's illogical nowhere in the whole world tribe is used as a yardsticks in creating political representative rather it's either based on province or region or zones. A bad looser will always try to cover the truth with false hood, our strength lies in our diversity and land plus our population, I challenge the op to give us a yardstick that will be used in creating states or reps, senate. 4 Likes |

barcanista: This is why we need to embark upon credible census in Nigeria. Merely, looking at the figures, SE/SS should have 135 combined at least. The SW+kwara+kogi should have 76. The North should have 127. The remaining 33 should be shared by the other minorities in the SS and NC ....70:30 |

barcanista:The problem with this model is that it will solve nothing. I believe you're from the "East" (Dividing Nigeria by this model). So, let's say each region has 20 reps each. Wouldn't we still have the same argument as now when Ibos, due to their larger population, will deem it fit to have more reps than, say, the Ikwerres? And then, they'll start crying fowl and requesting for equal representation, thus continuing the cycle. There's a reason why there's a SENATE where all states have equal representation irrespective of their population. And, you can't compare 3 zones to 2 (according to your OP) that's just ridiculous. 4 Likes |
