If your target is only naija, just drop your account numbers and phone numbers for people to pay in their monies. No stress no hassles

If you are in Nigeria and your target customers are Nigerians, go to your bank and ask about the ability to accept web payments.

Most banks have provisions for these.

I've done alot of payment integrations for local online merchants.

Stanbic, Diamond Bank, FCMB, UBA.

I believe getting the Stanbic package is something like 60-80k.

Good luck

why don't you check interswitch?

Yes, and that's the problem...but there are ways to get across that barrier...legally. For example: I could have someone abroad open one for me, in his or her name...I could open one while abroad, and have it verified...
I'd just have to change my IP...to prevent all the extra security checks.

Instead of the risk and stress of changing IP and have it blocked the day the IP fails to connect. Why not use a payment gateway that legally support Nigeria

Nice cues, exactly what am thinking.

What payment gateway and is it universally useful?

Free how? They don't charge fees?

Vogue pay is simply a Nigerian who went to his bank and did exactly what I described above and is using his account to provide as a service

I said almost free. I meant very cheap. Well, unless i intend to offer the same service as voguepay, investing such amount in a startup ecommerce store isn't wise.

In the end when you start selling in the hundreds per day, or even thousands then going to the bank becomes a necessity.

For this topic however, using voguepay and its likes is the best

Gurus in the house, I hail o. I'm making this enquiry on behalf of a friend. She wants to sell books on her website but she doesn't know which online payment portal to use. Someone suggested www.2checkout.com but is it the best? Is it flexible for both Nigerians and foreigners? Lastly, can one have two payment portals on one site? One for recharge cards and another for debit and credit cards. Thanks
When I used to sell plr, ebooks, and some info products (until late last year), I have tried plimus, 2checkout, clickbank affiliate, voguepay and many likes as a Nigeria, but I will tell you from my experience that the best I have used is regnow.com as a vendor. They are just amazing and far better than paypal. I get my money twice a month without single deduction apart from, I think 1 percent per sale. Free setup and nigeria allowed to join and your fee direct to your linked bank account.
Dont try paypal as nigeria if you Dont want to loose your money sooneer or later

Have you seen PAYCHOICE FOR COLLECTIONS?

https://www.upperlink.ng/product/payment/paychoice-for-collections

Many have integrated them into their products and services and they can be found here: https://www.quickteller.com/categories/MakePayment?cId=23

I've been working on integrating it into a product I'm building and it's great.

You are definitely right but 2checkout OP @ thepatroit said accepts credit and debit cards including PayPal from almost all the countries all over the world through their gateway! !!

You can't go wrong with me when it comes to PayPal issue, you can send a mail to me via info@ijamsolution.com with full details of what your team is into.

I'd like to know, please, the full details of integrating with you guys. And I see that you transacts with GTBank, Nigeria, would one have to open an account with them to do this?

I intend to open and account with you people and would be happy if you could help to answer these things.

And thanks to the OP for asking this question, which got approved.

It is really usual. If I may ask you sir, do you have a Merchant account with LHPAY? If No, then how can you tell we withhold your funds suddenly? Our Processor settles the Merchants 72 Hours from the Last Sale via Wire or as the Merchant desires. We do not hold their funds.

And our exchange rates are Bank exchange rates. I'm sorry sir but you do not just go about spreading wrong information. I am from lhpay and I am in this forum. We serve in USD and EUR. And payments are sent in those currencies so there is no need for any form of currency conversion in the first place.

Lhpay has no issues. It's working perfectly. As always.

There is no such thing as "sign up " on lhpay. You apply for a Merchant Account and the $100 deposit is optional as it only speeds up the Application approval and Merchant account setup with the processor/bank. And it is returned to the merchant once the account is opened.

I am confused as to where you got your facts from.

GTBANK, Nigeria is one of our Banking Partners we use in Serving Nigerian Merchants.

Opening a Merchant account through us does not need you to have a GTBank account. All you need is a Domiciliary account with any Bank in Nigeria to receive money from us when we wire it from Cyprus. But one benefit of our GTBank account holders is that they don't need a Domiciliary account as if the bank is GtBank we can send the payment in Naira (Converted from Merchant Currency) it only applies to GTBANK account holders. So it's optional.

And opening an account with us is free and fast. You only download our application form and control panel form for the processor then you fill it and sign. That's all. Send it back to us along with relevant documentation and you are good to go within 3 days or less .

If you have questions call: (+357)-222-32358 or email intl.service@lhpay.net or just pm me or quote me.

I think internet banking payments and other services such as mobile transactions through registered phone numbers can help. Recently I have transferred some amounts to mobile numbers of others, even those who are not registered. Once they receive the money they would have to register so that they can use the money received.

I have used PayPal and payoneer for international transactions.

I never stopped selling information products. It was just that I had less time constraint for now and I diverted some of my time to learn something new online. I will still repackage my selling later.
2checkout is good and accept Nigerian now. Unlike before that we were blacklisted. But I dont trust their fee.
I target international market because I was a vendor. I have ready made affiliates with regnow, that I was using then. I got some plr of some books and softwares. Repackage them and resell them. Relax and see dollars rolling in, that was done like 3 years until my sales drop late last year, so I will Repackage later.
I love clickbank also but their attitude against Nigerian vendor which they have blacklisted is worrisome. It is the best and the best. I was an affiliate them, and made few bucks though they have crazy charges but the market is large with great niches.
Just do your home work Well.

Thank you very much.. Your information is very detailed.. Do Nigerians buy your ebooks ? I intend targeting only Nigerians . Do you make much to cover your hosting and advert ? Or u don't advertise ? Sorry for my self styled interview questions.
