Behind bobo: I believe the attached is an idea of the configuration you are looking at. With this the best you can achieve is 7 apartments- i know u want to maximise the plot but 8 apartments result in over 65% coverage which is unacceptable. Also, it is standard to have 6 meters clear to the building's facade from the property line.

For all the units, the window will be at the back. Behind the toilet/bathroom there will be a tubular outlet leading to a 2ft by 2ft window and underneath that will be a wardrobe unit.

I see what you mean, oh well provided we can get the 8 units in, that is the most important part. This is at the back of the 2 plot(120 by 120) such that initially they would have the whole 120 by 75 for their parking until we are ready to do something in the front. I am just trying to cover all the bases from the onset. Many thanks.

It's about one and half plots (935sq.m of land). The Site is irregular and could have contained more than that if it were to be square or rectangular.

...And the client did not want to go another level up due to the swampy nature of the area. The cost of having a raft will make the building less viable commercially .

With one standard plot of 60x120ft, and with that lovely design format and features, how many rooms is possible?

You can get a maximum of 14 rooms per floor for a 60ft x 120ft plot.
If there are upper floors then it will be 13 rooms per floor because the vertical circulation(2 stairs at least) will take approximately the area of one en-suite room.
