Agreed but let me ask you, if your father, elder brother, teacher or someone you value makes a mistake will you start abusing him? I believe your answer no.

Give honour to whom honour is due. I have been following Odilibe for many months now and he has not had any problem with anyone, people here respect him for the contributions he has made to fta, so if one feels offended that person should just express his grievance in a matured way without treating people like boy boy.

Agkilis is a pastor, and I know how pastors who enjoy authority behave, but this a public forum and honour is due to Odilibe.

U can enta biss keys for more dan one channel. Theres no need editin d same row for anither channel. All u need to do is to go to d next row and edit. I advice u to change d row u ar usin 4d Tv3.

I appreciate your opinion, but I need you to understand. From your profile it seems you are new here and that says it all if true.

Nobody is worshipping anybody here, even the bible says a man who have served well is worthy of double honour (Agkilis may explain better as he is a pastor). As you said treat everybody with respect but then that includes those we affectionately termed 'gurus'. We call them gurus because of their unreserved and selfless contributions to FTA which some people take as their hobbies- to others it is their source of livelyhood.

Some days a ago we were all praising George D for the assistance he gave to Faithchild, imagine if someone comes here tomorrow and says George D is a fraudster just because of a little misunderstanding which can be easily settled knowing their reputations.

I ve been tracking with this LNBF and no sign of green,having tried various sat. positions am suspecting the LNBF may be faulty since there is no other lnbf at the moment to use and check, Am now asking if its possible to find out using the signal strength and the signal quality.

i think how u can verify if not the only way is to check the level percentage, it must remain 97percent steady but if not upto then it is bad however have seen a case where the 97 is steady and still bad

yes ....d 97% does not guarantee that it's gud........just try and use it on already working dish to know if it gives signal or not

To your question, the last time I checked, I did receive a number of TPs on hispasat but not all although for sometime now I have basically been hooked to 7w (nilesat) but I might revisit and see what gives.

As for the star gold fuji, I meant to replace it a while ago but later decided against it after observing that it's performance was almost at par with the red classic but for one or two percentage difference. My thinking was to max out its usage before replacing it. Incidentally this present star gold fuji is turning out to be my longest serving LNB on BUD when
compared with others which barely lasted up to 6 months!

MY TOUGH EXPERIENCE WITH IRIB
A friend came to my house and saw Irib he told me to help him do it whenever I am in Ibadan. I later did and we bought Supermax 1.8 meter dish. I tried all I could to get Irib channels but it failed. I noticed the dish has many shortfalls, it's not up to I.8 meter and not as perfect as strong. We later bought strong 1.8m and in 5 minutes Irib came dancing, Pictures to follow later. So the best dish to use in Irib is strong but the best Cband lnb is Supermax

Glad the LNB from Odilibe finally got you at least we can now dwell on other serious FTA issues.

I am glad that some pioneer members of the FTA family are still very active(George D, Microgiant,Odilibe and co you guyz know yourself). Thanks for keeping the flame burning.

Had to relocate to ABUJA because of Security concern at my former base(Yola, Adamawa State) and space constraint in my new will not permit me to motorise my 1.8m dish. But soon that will be sorted. Have been going thru the thread for a while now and have richly blessed with the quality of information available. I will keep the house posted once i commence the setup.
