That is not possible in democracy. The general should tread on a more cautious path.

Good move if it is to ensure decent dressing such that female reporters don't go and begin to expose cleavage to the president.

This era is different from that of GEJ who enjoys staring at bosoms of every lady!

Hehehehe, just like BAT enjoys staring at them too.. grin

NAIRALAND has become a hub for fake news, just to create tribal and political war.

I am sure the MOD don't have any other good source for this news.

Good Move. I support intoto.

Most female journalists going to Aso Rock, go there with premeditated mindsets of seducing the top echelon in government, hence their sensual-adorned appearances. They want to use the opportunity of interviewing the president to get to the top of their career. How foolish their thinking.

There was this female journalist who interviewed President GEJ (a few weeks before elections), her dressing was sensual and embarrassing to watch. From the President's body language, he was not comfortable. He was just smiling sheepishly at the each question and the lady was relishing the moment. I was like WFT.

This kind of scene should be checkmated and condemned. The office of the president is sacrosanct - as the highest body of earthly government, irrespective of the fact that, the authorities abuse the office.

I agree with this move

Lol, first route to sharia criminal codes which Buhari had vigorously campaigned for. Nigerians una want change, una don see change. In which country, except in Islamic countries, could a president stipulate dress code for others?

Who is Buhari to stipulate dress code for others while hiding under the office of Nigeria's presidency? Do other Nigerians stipulate dress code for Buhari?

Since the illiterate islamic jihad nomad couldn't get his way infringing on Nigerians right to free speech, well he is at liberty to restrict, ban or change our formal dress code to an islamic sharia code-we are all privy to the atrocities and hypocritis perpetrated under hijabs and other acts of islamic piety or sharia, whatever that means-....Won't surprise anyone if these same hijabs and burgahs become a staple in his corridors. That is if women rights are allowed and not suppressed as it is a common thing in the islamic north.

modesty doesnt mean the use of hijabs and the rest.modesty is when u cn wear a skirt without trying to adjust it to sit.modesty is when you on a bike and you dont tink if d top part of ur pan.ty is on display.modest is when you not tinkin if the man sitting next to u is luking at ur cleavage ....or do u prfr gals goin naked as wit da norm nw.....bfre if u buy a lace material;it is sewn wit a linen to cover d body..now linen is not in vogue..buy a lace sew it n wear....while showinh d contours of d body
