The govt. can give N5,000,000 to 50,000 Businesses (N50 Billion) every year even with petrol subsidy alive. I am so sure the leakage in the subsidy per year alone exceeds N50 Billion. In my estimate 20% of the beneficiaries can pay back the whole money in 10 years. There will always be people who will sneak 'part' of the money to 'live their life'.

Very true. 50,000 businesses would amount to N250 billion actually. This is very possible though I advocate 10 million for each because the average standard business will need to provide its own clean backup electricity like solar panels and inverters, buy equipment and meet other standard operating procedures and also employ accordingly. This has the capacity of generating up to 500,000 to 1 million jobs annually. I think the leakages in the oil industry is more than 1 trillion annually and this can comfortably find this project. That doesn't quite sound like a broad minded point of view. This is about nation development and I'm an advocate of that. I know many people haven't seen this kind of money before in their lives so they'll fight anyone who advocates for a broader reach out, but that doesn't stop me from advocating for rights that will develop this nation, rights which are working in other nations I've been to.
