According to fresh reports, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has defected back to his former political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP

The Senate President’s alleged defection comes barely a day after he reassured Nigerians of his commitment to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

According to reports from an online news platform, Nigerian Times, the Senate President unofficially cross-carpeted to the PDP at a secret meeting held with the PDP caucus yesterday evening.

The meeting was reported to have been convened at the Abuja home of the deputy Senate president, Ike Ekeremadu.

In reality, there is nothing in our polity to show that we have a party called APC.

In principle, we have ACN, nPDP, ANPP, CPC and bastard son of APGA. This arrangement has been maintained in terms of sharing the spoils of APC where CPC is the ruling party and deputized by ACN. ANPP is inverse surrogate of CPC and the only orphan in this arrangement is nPDP and bastard son of APGA.

While nPDP connived with the rejected father to takeover both chambers of National Assembly, bastard son of APGA completely lost it all.

It is correct to say that Saraki is back to nPDP and not to PDP.
