Tomtoxic:we don't need him to do battle with anyone...the Dominic fellow can go dance shoki in England. We are very okay with our KC and Awoniyi, we don't need another mulatto playing god in the team The fact remains that Kelechi stands a higher chance of winning cups in International football playing for Nigeria than Dominic does playing for England. When last did England win shiiit in any level of football? |

safarigirl:No doubt, the solanke lad is good but he could end up as one of those over hyped players trust the English media.. Kelechi Iheanacho is not in his class.. Maybe you could compare him to Jordan Ibe.. Why the heck should we beg him? ? Make we free am joor. . We are blessed with players who will end up as super stars.. Can this solanke guy even make the final 21-man list? ? Even if he does he may end up as the 4th choice striker.. |

Daninya11:azzin, we dey here dey pity Many say e get too ,any good guys and pesin still wan mention Solanke. Weknow that England lacks good footballers so we'll do charity and dash them the guy. Knowing the class of players we have sef, if na me be Dominic, I go just remain for England where i'm sure of a first team shirt come whatever. Thank God Iheanacho can"t play for England, else dem for son find magomago way to catch my guy |

safarigirl:LOL shoki Ke? Make una leave the boy alone joor. He once did an interview for CFC's official website where he said he would never reject Nigeria and that he's going to play for the country that gives him the chance. And to be candid, if in the future he plays for Nigeria, that will be due to the fact that he has not lived up to expectation cos i don't see the English FA passing up that kind of talent. Forty-one goals in a season is phenomenal, even for a youth team player. |

safarigirl:if u can read properly you'll see that he didn't say solanke should come to the flying eagles.he said he wished iheanacho competed with him the epl u-18. |
| Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by safarigirl(f): 8:28am On May 09, 2015 |
ajf:still.....isn't that how English players start? They initially look like the next Messi, then they turn out to be just another Dzeko |
| Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by safarigirl(f): 8:31am On May 09, 2015 |
lardy96:I read properly oga......and like I said, Iheanacho doesn't need to compete with Dominic.....we want him in the Premier League competing with the likes of Rooney and Costa......not with little boys in youth teams |
| Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by lardy96(m): 8:40am On May 09, 2015 |

| Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by zoboizee: 9:25am On May 09, 2015 |
Solanke played with better players in chelsea than iheanacho in man city. so he would still score more goals than kelechi even if they start the season together. the man city youth team is not as good as chelsea's. Not a fan of both but judging from their squad talents, team play and results so far. #fact. |
| Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by Nobody: 10:21am On May 09, 2015 |
zoboizee:I agree with you perfectly...Solanke is one of the best strikers in premiership youth teams |
| Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by safarigirl(f): 10:52am On May 09, 2015 |
casket:his point is that Solanke is surrounded by better players, hence he'll play better, but if you place Kelechi in same team, then all bets are off. A lot like how Success looks shitty simply because he's surrounded by shitty players |

I'm tired of Granada. They say Isaac Success is not injured, they are not using him for games (he's not even on the bench for the match going on right now with Cordoba) and yet they have not releasing him for the training camp. Annoying! |

joseph1013:He had a fever in the last game, perhaps he is not 100% healthy. The have a chance to escape relegation so they won't let any player leave now |

Man City's Iheanacho Delighted To Score Match-Winner Against Porto https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/209098/7/default.jpg Manchester City Elite Development Squad defeated a very experienced FC Porto side 1- 0 on Friday night to win the maiden International Premier League Cup thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho's early strike. The Nigeria youth international's fourth minute goal was the third time he was scoring for the youth teams of The Citizens since making his return from injury. The Golden Ball Winner at the 2013 Fifa Under 17s has expressed his delight at scoring the goal that was enough to beat Porto at the Academy Stadium. ''I feel great, it was a good experience playing in the Premier Cup for the first time and I scored the only goal that won the trophy. So I thank God Almighty for that,'' said Kelechi Iheanacho to the official website of Manchester City, mcfc.co.uk. Following a wayward back - pass, the 18 - year - old had a short time to think about his finish but he kept his cool to round goalkeeper Nunes before slotting the ball into an empty net. ''It was good. At first I wanted to place the ball then I realized that the defender behind me was a little bit far so I kept my cool, took a touch then finished,'' the Manchester City number nine concluded. Manager Patrick Vieira named Iheanacho in his starting XI while another Nigerian player, midfielder Mikel Agu, failed to come off the bench for the Portuguese setup, who play in the equivalent of England's Championship. Kelechi Iheanacho was subbed out for Brandon Barker in the 62nd minute. |

Madu Coy On Interest From PSV & Ajax https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/209112/7/default.jpg AS Trencin left full back Kingsley Madu has done little to quell rumours of his potential exit from the Slovakian side by staying coy on talks of a potential move to the Dutch Eredivisie. Reports in the Dutch press monitored by SL10.ng has it that Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Amsterdam are set to battle it out for his services in the summer. "I have read about the news but while I admit am very happy at AS Trencin this is football and anything can happen," he told SL10.ng. "Ajax, PSV and the Dutch league is a step up but it's not for me to decide,I have an agent and am confident he will do what is best if the need arises." Some reports in the Belgium press also suggested he might join his fellow Kaduna born and Ex- teammate at Under-20, Moses Simon, at KAA Gent. After an injury interrupted start to the season, the former El-Kanemi full back has recovered fully and his overlapping runs and crosses has played a big part in Trencin lifting the cup and currently top of the league in Slovakia. |

Keshi Hails Flying Eagles https://level3.soccerladuma.net/cms2/image_manager/uploads/News/209108/7/default.jpg As they get set for the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has hailed the quality in the team. Keshi, himself a former Flying Eagles coach, having led Nigeria to the Africa Youth Championship in Ethiopia in 2001, says the current Flying Eagles team has very good players and he’s proud of them. “I’ve seen them play sometimes and I think they have very good players,” he said, “I have also worked with some of them; Iheanacho, Awoniyi and Alampasu so I know how good they are. “I am not surprised they are doing well and I hope they continue to do well,” he posited. The Super Eagles gaffer went on to reiterate that Super Eagles call-ups await those that can show him they are ready to step up to the big league. “The players are talented no doubt and if they show me they are ready, I will bring them in. I have no problems with that. “I brought three of them in before the CHAN last year, and if I see that they are ready for the Super Eagles, they will come in. “But we have to understand there is a difference with playing for the U20 and the Super Eagles,” he stressed. |
