Manure has suddnly become our fan Karma is a biitch ![]() Look at louis van girl crying begging and texting mourinho MANCHESTER United manager Louis Van Gaal has congratulated Jose Mourinho on his feat of bagging the Premier League title again with Chelsea. It's a nice touch from someone such as Van Gaal, who has helped Mourinho at various stages of his career. Notably, Van Gaal gave Jose his training ground debut when they were together at Barcelona. And Old Trafford boss Van Gaal was not concerned that Mourinho had given his players time off this week to celebrate their title success ahead of their clash with Liverpool - who are Manchester United’s only rival for fourth place and a coveted Champions League place. "I have sent him a message, but I don't know if the message has arrived because I know he changes his [phon]) number a lot," he said. "It was well deserved, I think, when you see the statistics you cannot doubt they are the real champions." The Chelsea boss has also denied giving his players four days off after beating West Brom to clinch the trophy with three games left on Sunday. Reports emerged this week that Manchester United were concerned over a rumour that Blues players were given a lengthy break and it might impact on their ability to beat Liverpool, whom United are fighting for fourth place, when the sides meet on Sunday, also live on Sky Sports 1HD. But Mourinho said: "This is not true. Here, I work from the beginning of the season like people who make suits for measure. Not everyone wears 50 or 52. "Here we take care of players like suits to measure. |

Van Gaal explains why he's signing Depay Louis van Gaal has admitted he pushed through Manchester United's move for Memphis Depay because Paris Saint-Germain were closing in on the Dutch star. The French side were also keen on the exciting prospect but the Reds boss was determined to be reunited with a player who impressed at the World Cup for the Netherlands under his tutelage. "He's a goalscoring winger and there aren't so many of them in the world," van Gaal revealed to MUTV. "[Lionel] Messi is one of those but now I think we have to talk about the game against Crystal Palace and we have to focus on this and the coming three games. That's more important. "I was forced to handle [the situation] as a manager because, otherwise, he was going to PSG, that's why I had to sign him and we've done it within one day. But, for us, it's better to focus on the game against Palace." Although keen to finalise his transfer business quickly, van Gaal reiterated that United's hand was forced on this occasion with three games still to go with the deal set up to be concluded at a later date. "I want to do this [make signings] early but it's not always possible," he added. "When there's a chance, to you have handle that and manage it directly and that was the case. I want to purchase players after our season and not during the season because it disturbs our concentration for the match." - MUFC |

Memphis Depay, a good player with good pace. Louis van Gaal need to find a way to get the best out of the pacy attacking players because Angel di Maria and Adnan Januzaj have had very limited influence, it doesn't look coincidental to me. |

MrTA:Yes we need a DM to replace Carrick because Carrick's legs are gone and understandably so. On the issue of whether we need another AM?The answer is self explanatory.Earlier in the season,we were atrocious in the back,we were conceding goals left, right and centre As the season progressed it has now become a case of not conceding much but not scoring lately.I hope you do remember that we have not scored a goal in our last 3 EPL Games and you talk about creativity that our AM's have.which AM exactly are you referring to? For all of Herrera's skills and technique, I dnt see him as a grade A(Tier 1) AM....Like say someone like David Silva,Iniesta,Scholes or Fabregas..He is okay but he is not top, top class.Even Di Maria has been creatively better than Herrera this season and he spends more time on the bench.Mata has been pushed to the wide right position and the least said about Rooney in midfield, the better..so I ask again which "loads of creative AM's are you referring to?If we had loads of creative AM's we would not fail to score goals in the last 3 games. This is because there is no creativity to unlock teams that have parked the bus against us or maybe you are referring to having 80% possesion of the ball without penetration and passing, passing, passing as having loads of creative AM's. My Pal,there is no creativity in our midfield or wings, not for now. That is why we have gotten Depay and I am sure LVG will get one DM and one top class AM at the most this summer and we will address these issues ![]() |

Kemizee:Well for me, a lot has to do with balance. If the Strikers and defence are solid enough Mata,Herera and Di Maria is enough to unlock most defences. Our best performances have come when the team was well balanced. Its important that Herrera and Di Maria continue to improve after the first season in a new league and I'm hopefuly they'll improve next season. Depay will hopefully bring added pace and more goals from the middle or wide positions so I'm really not continue we need that much more in attack apart from a Striker to replace Falcao. The Focus needs to be on bringing in a CB, RB and Defensive midfielder/Deep lying playmaker and a striker. that's it in my opinion. |

I hope so.I pray it works.Y said wat I said is dis:Everton, Chelsea and WBA did not run at our defence at at will.It was not a defensive midfield problem. We outplayed the three of them.Wat was lacking was partially a finisher and mostly unlocking ability/creativity.So if u say we shud sign a DM because Carrick is getting older and needing replacement, I agree wid u bt if u say we shud sign one because dt was d reason y we lost all 3 games and failed to score..I disagree Sir.Anyway, like I said we hope those 2 departments are sorted dis Summer. And also like I said we need a new striker and U concur wid dt. |

19 mins: Leicester 2 Southampton 0 I salaute Leicester. They deserve to stay in the EPL. To think Southampton is npw at risk of not qualifying for Europa. This was why I wanted them to take points off Liverpool when they were still hot few months back. Martinez almost got Everton relegated. |

Rene Meulensteen Angel Di Maria needs to change his game to survive in the Premier League. Di Maria has struggled at United this season and has been linked with a departure this summer. But Meulensteen - a former United assistant manager - says Di Maria will struggle to play to his natural strengths in England. He told talkSPORT: "The Spanish league suits him better because if you analyse him as a player, his strength is running with the ball, and I don't think that is a big part of Louis van Gaal's philosophy. "In Spain, you have got more space to really cover ground quickly, 20, 30, 40 yards. "When you come into a new league, you want to prove yourself, you are a little bit of an unknown identity, there's a bit of unpredictability, but when teams start to suss you out and you start running into players, then it becomes more difficult. "If he wants to stay at Man United, then I do think he has to adapt his play a little bit." [Source: TalkSport] ................. hmmm I think it has to do with the or style and the set of players around him. This season, Ancelloti is altered Madrid's pattern from counter attacking football of last season to possession football. I think that too affects Bale. |

Marouane Fellaini admitted he cried when David Moyes was sacked by Manchester United. Fellaini has since flourished under new boss Louis van Gaal, but admitted he was left bereft when Moyes was given his marching orders last season. “I was sad when he went, I came into the canteen and saw him in a suit instead of his tracksuit. He called me into his office and told me. “There were tears and that is normal, I am human. I worked six years with him. He was not a second father, but almost. He helped me a lot”. Fellaini also revealed what his new manager demands of him. “What Van Gaal has been asking me is to be as close as possible to Rooney in the box, he talks a lot. He came to see me one day and said: ‘You know why you are playing?’ and I said 'No' and he said it was because I didn’t lose the ball. “When I start to lose the ball in training, he repeats: ‘I play you because you don’t lose the ball, so don’t start losing it'. I knew it was going to be difficult when he arrived because I was the scapegoat last season. So I told myself I had nothing to lose. “I had one chat with him at the start of the season on my return from the World Cup. He told me there were a lot of players in my position and it was up to me to prove myself." [Source: Mirror] ![]() |

If this is really the case, then Louis Van Gaal was nuts to sign a player that did not fit into his philosophy.Who else is to blame? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 3:52pm On May 09, 2015 |
Kemizee:That's what I've been saying. Why sign players like Di maria and Falcao that are not possession-type of players?. From what I've seen from Depay, he is also similar to Nani that runs with the ball and shoots. Unless he now wants to change his 'possession philosophy'. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 4:12pm On May 09, 2015 |
Only he knows he to use them.Depay is an upgrade on Young so he mgt not have problems. Also I think we will see a lot of tactical variation and versatility frm him next season because the players we will av will be much more intelligent and adaptable as Barca and Bayern have. The possesion football will be better and where it calls for adaptation the players will immediately switch. The players we av rgt now cnt fo dt simply because most of them are not jst good enough |

Predictable 11. expect Palace too counter attack us to death. |

This is like first 11 without a bench. Rafael, Van Persie, Rojo and Di Maria have all joined Carrick. Gaal said yesterday that there is a vius in the dreesing room that has attacked many players including himself. |

chrisley024:That is the only logical explanation. Maybe he's using the possession football to at least get Utd into Europe. Maybe next season he'll tweak his tactics. LvG z a cray man |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 4:48pm On May 09, 2015 |
weedtaker:That'll be one point out of a possible 12. Issorai. BTW we only need 4 pts to clinch Europe. After chelsea, Liverpool face crystal palace (H) and stoke city (A). Those teams have nothing left to play for and can be easily beaten. |
