Yes we know, how else can you explain the reasons for giving pipeline protection to people that were not trained as security officials nor constitutionally recognized to perform such role.?
May we not witness such type of useless governmemt again in Nigeria.

I don't think you understand what happened here. Things like this are handled by community members because they know the terrain. Go to the north & see what is happening. If Nigeria does not go back many years then God just pitied us...buhari does not have a single thing.

Bollinger:

Let me tell you a story. George W Bush, was at one time the most hated man in America. He was hated more than Jimmy Carter and Nixon, which, to Americans is a big deal. He was singled out as the main reason the economy was tanking and why the country was spending close to 1 billion a month fighting two wars. Unknowingly, it was his vice president pulling all the strings and leading the president in the wrong path. Yes Bush was that stu.pid. It was so bad that Americans would have voted a Russian as president to lead them. Then comes this brilliant, slick, handsome black guy who knew how to say and promise the right things. Americans were hooked. To them they had seen enough suffering and were ready for CHANGE. Obama wins the presidency and his true agenda comes to light; the gradual transformation of America into a semi socialist state, the destruction of the middle class and the gay agenda all for political gain. Now, Obama is probably the most hated President ever.

I have said it many times. Nigerians have selective amnesia. Most Nairalanders are like 12 year old who don't realize that what is happening with Buhari, happened when Obasanjo came into power as a civilian. People were so tired of Military rule that they were ready for CHANGE. I remember we used to say that Nigeria's time had come. I mean, this was a guy who was on death row and had a miraculous rescue. To add to that, he was being prepped to be president. It was like a fairy tale. We all have seen the end result of that blunderous mistake.

The same thing is happening again. Jonathan phucked things up so badly that Nigerians are ready for anything and anyone to take the helm of power without examining things closely enough. Buhari is a man, who under normal circumstances would never had made president, but because Nigerians are so desperate, they let unreasonable expectations, false hope, and naivety erode common sense. The guy is smart though; he knew Nigerians weren't desperate enough, that is why they never voted for him in previous elections. NOW WE ARE. Don't get me wrong, Jonathan is no better. He probably the dumbest we ever had, but the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know. But in Buhari's case, we know the angel, and you'all still voted for him. I can guarantee you, what happened to America, under Obama and the democrats will never happen again in America. You can already smell the CHANGE over here. In the last elections, the Republican party swept almost all the seats. The worst thing you can ever do is make a life changing decision when you are desperate. That is how 419 thrives; they hook you when you are desperate and have unrealistic expectations. Can Nigerians ever learn from history?
You are just a loser for believing the Republicans cooked up story that Obama is a failed president. America was in a recession when Obama took over and it's now out of recession with increasing jobs statistics every month. Obama passed the affordable care act which several president previously could not do thereby benefiting the poor and middle class. Don't come here justifying the racist republican mantra of Obama being a socialist. I doubt if you know the meaning of socialism. Finally at least you accepted that Gej is a failure. But you will rather we vote in a failure than take a chance.

u r a fool. a man is raising vital points as to issues affecting dis nation and those responsible, making this nation difficult for nigerians (both north and south). And rather than for u to evaluate the validity of the point, u resort to tribal rantings.
it's ur type dat keep dis nation backward

Oh please shut the Bleep up!! What valid points did that clown make? As far as I'm concerned the break down and sale of the once corrupt PHCN was one of the BEST MOVES the outgoing administration ever made. Let the private sector handle distribution and generation while the FG handles transmission and overall regulation via NERC. That this same clown of a senator expected the power situation to change overnight after the privatization clearly shows he doesn't have a damn clue how the sector work. Here's a sector loooong abandoned and wrecked by previous administrations (particularly from his tribe). Rather than commend the outgoing administration for clearing their mess and turning around the sector by building more power stations, upgrading and expanding our transmission grid(plus decentralizing it and outsourcing its mgt to a competent firm), working on resolving the gas supply issue long ignored by past administrations and regimes, and increasing generated power compared to the paltry 1000+MW of previous administrations, this useless person is busy spewing trash just to please GMB. And you're here gulping it all up like a monkey.

What's even more laughable is him blaming GEJ for the fall in the naira. Did the GEJ administration tell the Americans to pump in excess shale oil into the market this causing the price/barrel of oil to crash? Is Nigeria responsible for major producers like Saudi Arabia and Russia not cutting production to at least shore up prices? And what's this trash talk of businesses shutting down? List them! On the contrary we've seen an increase in the number of SMEs and a revamped manufacturing sector thanks to the GEJ administration. Hell we now manufacture high-end goods for Christ sake!! And how about our revamped agricultural sector that's now this nation's 2nd highest earner of FX? Nigeria's economy is "bad" yet it is still seen by the likes of Forbes and co as one of the fastest growing in the world and a choice destination for FDI. Yet you expect me to take in trash from some a.b.o.k.i airhead who calls himself a senator? You must be high on expired cabin biscuit. Nonsense.

I have lived in both, you live in one. Google is not your friend in this instance. You have to live it to experience it. It is no propaganda when a party wins over 90 percent of seats in a house. And don't act like you understand the affordable care act. I pay the taxes you don't. It is not all sweet smelling roses. Health care is not the only issue America has you know. Lastly, i have no issues with taking a chance on a new candidate but expecting miracles? Now that's just stu.pid

Let us be sincere, the privatization of a govt parasatal will always lead to job losses. It is inevitable. As much I feel the poor quality of electricity, it is too simplistic to blame it on the privatization. If generation is poor, distribution is irrelevant. It is okay for your fad to blame GEJ butting doubt it is a blame devoid of bias.

That scam together with the amnesty fraud are two things the new govt has to discontinue if they expect any sane person to take them serious.
Spend the money in massive infrastructural development of the area. Even are that they must award such contracts to reputable firms not indigenes as we saw Amaechi do in rivers state.
If the bandits want to make the area ungovernable, they are welcom. Then the govt will deal with the security situation withat the full weight of the law.

Don't mind these airheads. Their "messiah" is busy making out excuses for his forthcoming non performance, yet they're busy attacking the quiet and meek outgoing president who's prepping for his retirement and much deserved rest. Abeg I can't wait for May 29 to come fast enough. Then we'll see who they'll blame for non performance when they're alone on the hot seat at Aso Rock.

Did he lie , has the last 4 years not be a cabalized economy where a president claims BH sympathy has infiltrated his caucus but he is powerless against it.

Where he said he knows all the cabals but we are yet to see a high profile case , what happened to faroik law an

Between GEJ , Allison Madueke , Okonjo , David Mark the protection of fraudsters and the theft of Nigerian wealth was guaranteed.

Whu didn't GEJ or PDP probe Tinubu , they had 16 years to do so but never bothered to , but they sent at least 4 of their own high profile people to jail, Tafa Balogun , George etc
