Em KcMark kindly tell us the moniker who issued your TheSonOfMack moniker that ban.
Re: Miss Nairaland Contest 2015 - Rules For Campaigning by Nobody: 3:36pm On May 12, 2015
I really dont want to believe that the miss nairaland contest has been compromised by the judges, but if this is true then something has to be done. Banning thesonofmark for making his obsevations know is just unacceptable and brings to light the fact that there may be some truth in his allegation. If this is the deal, then the "arrangee" contestant (name witheld) should be crowned already so as to save us all the stress, if its not true then one would expect the mods or judges to address thesonofmark's allegation rather than ban him. Nuff said.

Re: Miss Nairaland Contest 2015 - Rules For Campaigning by ronald4lif(m):
The banning of TheSonOfMark is unjustifiable and should be reversed. Peoples opinion should not be silenced or gagged under any guise. This was same manner dark rebel was banned for questioning a certain supermod.

Too much authoritarianism in this forum and it's really not healthy for the long term survival of this platform. We're in a democracy and even as pedestrian as his allegations seems to be, silencing him isn't the right path to address his assertions. The really is no need to get emotional.

Seriously, some people can make a mountain out of a mole hole. Why posting your biography just because you were banned? Was he trying to intimidate the judges with his vocabs? I just don't get it. huh

I'm replying cos of you.

For reference sake, could you please make explicit or point to what exactly it is that the son of mark revealed?

I for one did not incite any mod to get him banned.
But if he was, then he had it coming.

He flaunted one or more rules as clearly stipulated on the thread by inciting the contestsants/audience against the judges/mods.

I await your response in all civility and objectivity.

I really want to know the moniker/moderator who issued him that ban and what rule did he break. I would be surprise if they say he broke rule 8 or even rule 2.

So I called you out on your inarticulated comments and piss-poor job of spelling then you resorted to using pictorial representations? I knew I was right when I opined that your vocabulary stock is depleted. So easy to spot a simpletoncheesy. Now run along, bum.

JOSEPH1832; All I saw after the ban was that I made a comment on this thread with the link attached. I'll try to post screenshots.

DHARAY99: An innocent person doesn't fear retribution. What are they scared of? The truth? Maybe they'll soon get this one banned.

Teeeoo: Check my antecedent posts; I haven't campaigned for any of them...or maybe you want a duel. I just might be tempted to oblige your request..

It will be nice to know his violated rules too. We are all aware in a competition such as this there will be controversies. Some people will question the process and how it is being runned. Everyone must not agree on the management and the conduct of the exercise, but silencing them is unacceptable, imperious and autocratic. There should be some tolerance and liberal approach to opposing voices.

MODIFIED!.

Bro I think you should make a formal report/complaint of the banning of your moniker to Seun on the General section, he alone can undo the ban and knock sense into the fingers of this moderators.

Well I doubt it. Usually when you're issued a ban they state the moderator who issued that ban and the rule you broke.

Funny thing is the reason he gave for his ban was that he made a comment on this threadhuh. If that is his offense then we all should be issued ban.
