What is the biggest age gap that your find acceptable in your relationship?

To me 25 down 5up is alright..... But no one less than 18years

I'm beginning to think that age doesn't really matter just as long as the two people are compatible mentally, spiritually, sexually, etc.

Yesterday I was watching an interview with Lisa Bonet & her husband, forgot his name, but they seem to have so much chemistry & understanding despite their 11-year age difference. She's older than him but because of her small stature, you can never tell.

Hahaha, 25 down? I know most people will come here and say that age is just a number and that maturity is what counts more, but I think some people over do it, You cant be marrying or dating a guy thats over 5 years older than you, people should think of the future and conversations and stages in life that they are before entering a dating situation.

I think it could go either way regardless. No relationship is guaranteed to last, unless both people are willing to put their differences aside & make it work.

I don't know, whatever works for "them". For me, 10 years is too much but that's just me.

But some our leaders in their 70s and above have wives less than 30s..... So how do you see this or justify their act.

Mind you in true African tradition there is real no age limit in relationship, even in traditional core western cultures.

I just would not feel at ease getting married to a lady that I'm 10 years and above older than. It would make me feel more like she's a daughter and not a wife.

I wouldn't wanna get married to a 20 year old gurl when I'm 30. Naaah... It's a no, no for me.
Getting married to a lady of 23-27 years just when I'm 30 is just right for me.

However, 22, 28 and 29 would be allowed on rare circumstances.
