This house located at Ngozika phase two belongs to Phyno Fyno.

The good stuff about it all is that government is providing infrastructures to encourage developers.

If your pocket is deep then plan for Greenwood city. That hood will host the cream dela cream of the Igbo race. Psquare brothers, I was told are already speculating for a choice piece of land at the Greenwood for their mansion. I heard also they want to invest in the hospitality industry.

I think we start campaigns to let our rich people to start going cooperate, the bane of Igbo businesses is one man business, sole proprietorship.
Look at the way Ekenedili chukwu fizzle out without any ashes to to fall on, my friend was telling me that CN Okoli is almost gone.
That is why I don't like discussing Igbo businesses because our style and outlook seems antiquated to an informed mind.

GCM Onicha was sold to build SABMiller, Premeir Brewery is in life support machine, last week I passed Niger Delta Flour Mill beside toll gate Ogbunike and the place look like where Dinosaurs live.

No company in Onicha is listed in the xchange except few from Nnewi like Curtis Cable listed on the second tier market.

We are losing out on that opportunity, though Pita Obi tried to increase the consciousness and participation and I really love that his moves.

We need to go cooperate, it reduces burden and increase the lifespan of an organization.

I can understand the the need for Igbo businessmen to go cooperate for those into service delivery like abc transport or those into manufacturing like neimeth and cutix but not sure about igbos that are into trading though..moreover those most of those Igbo guys into trading are at best semi literates

He should create the awareness like Obi used to do, Ministries of commerce, industries, trades, investments, and aggencies like ANSIPPA should start organizing seminars for traders every two weeks, chamber of commerce in Nnewi, Onicha and oka should almagamated to start functionig like the one in Lagos.

What they need is orientation and atitudinal change, seminars, workshops and symposuims are great avenues to make these happen

He was saying that the Igbo businessmen that are literate should divest the businesses . And many of them are in this category .
And that even the semi literate ones can be informed on the need to go corporate too and how to go about it

Far too premature to claim victory !

Shortly after the civil war the whole world thought that the Igbos lost.

Sadly that is not the case. Nigerians across various tribe lost as ethnic nationalities in Niger Delta lost their God given resources, middle belt /Northern aborigin the became sacrificial lamb and Yorubas became perpertual slaves that must not allow to rule except a Northern dies in office.

Twenty-eight recipient honours and awards from His Holiness, Pope Francis were yesterday, at Our Lady of Assumption Catheral, Nnewi, Anambra State presented with various official titles according to the Catholic tradition.

The papal honours and awards were on the recommendation of His Lordship, Most Rev Hilary Odili Okeke, Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese.

Four priests were honoured as Chaplains of His Holiness, with the title of Monsignor. They are Michael Onyekachukwu, Christopher Ejizu, Pius Ilechukwu and Patrick Ezeobata.

Five lay faithful were honoured as Knights of the Order of St. Gregory the Great. They are Dr Obinna Uzor, Mr Nicholas Chikaodinaka Okonkwo, Engr Gilbert Ajulu Uzodike, Barrister (Mrs) Angelina Uzodike and Professor Amobi Ilika while Mr Betrand Ezeani, Lady Margareth Ezeani, Mr Cajethan Onyilimba and Mr Innocent Anaedo were honoured as Knights of the Order of St Sylvester, among other titles.

Bishop Okeke said the ecclesiastical honours, which the Holy Father had granted to 28 members of Nnewi Diocese were given in recognition of outstanding services the recipients had rendered to the Church and humanity generally.

“To be one of the 28 given Papal honours was a great honour and privilege, not just for them but for the entire family of God on mission. For these honours reflect the special relationship of our Diocese with the Holy Father and the Universal Church,” the Bishop said.

IGP visits Governor Obiano

As part of activities marking his one-day work visit to the State aimed at strengthening the partnership with the State Government in maintaining a crime-free

Anambra State, The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase friday paid a courtesy visit on Governor Willie Obiano.

The IGP who was accompanied on the visit by top ranking Officers of the Nigerian Police was received by the Governor at the Governor's Lodge, Amawbia. Speaking after meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Governor Obiano said the Police remained a veritable tool in his administration's sustained onslaught against criminals which has made the state the best in the country in terms of security.

The Governor noted that through his administration's organised system of crime-fighting, it has been able to prove that with proper motivation and assistance, the Nigerian Police can effectively live up to its responsibility of protecting the live and property of the citizenry.

Congratulating Mr Arase on his confirmation as the new IGP, Governor Obiano said the honour would spur him to greater and laudable achievements in the nation's security sector, assuring him of the continued support and partnership of the State Government.

He reassured Ndi Anambra that having made security its priority, his administration is committed to sustaining efforts at ensuring that the State remained free from the clutches of armed robbers and kidnappers as well as making her habitable for the investors he is attracting to grow her economy.

Earlier, the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Arase said the visit was to thank Governor Obiano for his uncommon intervention and reforms in the State Security Sector and to encourage him to do more. He noted that through his avowed commitment to rid the State of criminals, the Present Administration has exhibited genuine resolve towards improving the lot of Ndi Anambra and entrenching Peace and Stability which are preconditions for meaningful development to ensue.

The IGP also commended the Community-Police partnership approach adopted by the state government towards policing all nooks and crannies of the state and called on Governors across the Country to adopt the model to intensify the efficiency of Police efforts in their various states.

The Inspector-General of Police had earlier inspected facilities put in place by the present administration that have aided the huge success it has so far recorded in the area of security which included bay stations, Over 120 Command and Control Patrol Vehicles, Communication gadgets, the Central Security Control room amongst others
