If it were someone like Luke Shaw he brought on to check Walcott speed, it would still have been fine. Blackett has not done anything meaningful since September. Always a weak point and causing nervousness. Ashley Young virtually went to defence to cover up. Well hope we do well to be ready for the play off. The preseason and a few matches in the new season should prepare us.

His mistake could have been made by anyone, it would have been however more pardonable if it were from one of the players ho started. He didnt close Walcott enough. However, we had the opportunity to finish them off, but we have not been lucky scoring. Gaal should also look for a striker who can suit this philosophy. We have to be careful in selection of a striker, not just because someone is scoring plenty else where.

It's painful but we have to move on. It could easily have ended 3-0 in our favour. We dominated completely. However, we are back to UCL. We are better than Liverpool, and it's in our hand to get into the group stage.
