It's obvious that there are more women than men in Nigeria and this should also reflect on Naija social media. I have observed that we have more men than women on Nairaland. My question is, why?

1. Men surf the internet more than female, the site they(females) visit most is Facebook posting silly pics.

2. Females hardly contribute to reasonable, educative threads, the only threads you can find a lot of females is romance, family, fashion section.

3. I think many female have low-self esteem online making men bully and bash them on Nairaland so they remain mute on Nairaland.
