Of special note is Brazil and Ireland, Countries which are were/are deeply rooted in Catholicism. Then there's Germany, the home of the protestant reformation, where Gay couples can enter into legal partnerships. Also, it's no secret that the U.S is still largely quite Christian. So can we say the Christian countries are championing the Gay rights movement?
