Today is World Menstrual global hygiene day aimed at increasing awareness on menstrual waste disposal and its effect. In Nigeria, it is a source of concern as waste collectors have seen the upsurge of menstrual wastes in places like road sides, drainages e.t.c. Let us recall that this waste is very toxic and can cause diseases to unsuspecting public.
