Nice one blessedotiz. We know God that created those making the decision concerning this scholarship and with our prayers and confession those that are duly qualified for this scholarship will get it in the name of Jesus. Amen. I will not relent in my prayers.

I bring good news to all who did very well. There is a strict allocation of slots this year. State Reps and Directors have one slot only. The MD and executives have 3 and 2 slots. Interviewers and consultants - 1 and 2 slots. They are refusing to entertain request from senators and the likes so the remaining goes to all those that performed well.

With this allocation thingy, the number of rep members in the NDDC states is more than 30, and then NDDC board members from each NDDC state should be around, 20 etc. What then is left? My brothers and sisters, its well.

It is important that we never condone corruption - not even in our thoughts by secretly wishing we knew 'people' or envying friends that know 'people'. And those of us that will be in positions of authority/power tomorrow must remember days like these, and never bow to the pressure of nepotism or favoritism for they are the relatives of corruption. We might not be in power yet but let's make conscious effort to dislike such traits, and when we are in power it will be easier to fight evil. I don't have a problem with slots and all that. Let it not affect people on merit that's all. Create more allocation instead of replacing peeps. Like last 210 were awarded. Probably that extra 10 came from slots. As far the 200 were not touched......

I might be wrong but I don't think anyone can give u an accurate answer. If it was under the list of approved disciplines per the nddc scholarship requirement, then I done see any reason why they won't give you if you are successful overall.

If your question implies whether the non core engineering course "info tech" is relevant to petroleum production, then Yes it is one of its backbone. Petroleum production as it is currently carried out will be impossible without info tech. So if NDDC supports Earth Sciences and Engineering Courses, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't support info tech.
