Abeg abeg Gbola5 this is too much! The way you are going about this is something else, you are calling the TV show fan fiction yet you indulge in all kinds of theories sprouted from readers and viewers like yourself from westeros.org. Which of these have more legitimacy, scripts written by the TV producers that are endorsed by George RR Martin himself or stuff posted by some overweight 30 something year old man living in his mother's basement?

You need to come to terms with the fact that the TV show is what it is, it is not an improvement or ridicule of the book story. They are two different elements to be enjoyed separately.

And some fans reckoned:

► the hooded guy is Benjen Stark, Jon's 'uncle' who was missing since s01. How they came to this conclusion, they didn't say.

► That both tyrion and jon are targs - I also read on here about tyrion being a targ citing amongst others the hair and eye color theory as reasons, but how about jon snow? He's got black hairs, dark eyes to contradict descending from the targ kinsfolk, so what then is his own targ related theory? Just being curious here.

And to those paranoiac about Olly, that's just what it is, paranoia. The lil boy is angry @jon's decision to bring the wildings close to the wall after watching them kill his family and also frightened having the wildings closeby knowing what they are fully capable of, what reason(s) does he then have to murder sam?

If he wanted murdering anyone, it would have been jon snow and it would have happened when he served him - the moment after he (jon) made the pronouncement of bringing in the wildings.
you mean Warg. And Jon has already warged into Ghost by accident in season one I think. It was shown as a dream.

Tyrion though, that mofo ain't no warg

cant even remember the so-called benjen stark sef.

about tyrion and jon being targs...remains to be seen

olly will come around. but the look on the face is like that of someone who wants to do something bad. Killing sam will be outrageous cos he wasn't the one who said he wanted to save the wildlings and when olly finally hears about the WW and wights, he will forget he had family sef.
Benjen stark, the brother to ned.

His apperances in season one was one of the few, if I can recall vividly, he's the reason jon came to castle black, they were close.

What I saw on olly's face was an angry, frightened child...everyone with their opinion tho.

The fear of WW is the begining of wisdom I guess lool

It isn't about comparism with the book?
When all I read here is how it was and happened in the book?
Im talking about the particular point.

Now this is new, your warg post, can't recall that scene where that happened. You sure about this? That it was jon and not bran?

What I read here was jon and tyrion being targaryens (targs), related to daenerys by blood and not wargs

More like they are angry with the author rather than enjoy the series for what it really is, a great movie or perhaps, they are angry at the fact that they can't predict the tv show as they wanted using the book, I think that's more like it.

do the dead become white walkers or wights?... i guess white walkers?...so where do wights come from?
No, the dead become wights. They are brought back to life by white walkers. White walkers are just another race of beings like the first men, children, humans etc.

hmmmm..... so they lost the dragon glasses and there are only three valyrian steel swords left undecided

now the iron throne is gonna be the least of anyone's problems cheesy
Nah. King Stannis said there are a lot of dragon glass in dragonstone. And there are at least 4 valyrian steel swords in the show.

Imagine the White Walkers turning the dragons to Wights(undead).....dats d end of the 7kingdoms oh.
White walkers don't die, they disintegrate. Also, I doubt dragon fire has effect on them.

Im sure your one o' those who, when writing an exam and answering a question that you've never been refered, simply skip it and get annoyed, cuz you dont wanna think outside the box. And you shouldn't refer to someone else as "dis 1". Its a bloody discussion. And its no spoiler.
Actually, it is a spoiler.

If It happened in the books but it hasn't happened in the show, it means there is high probability that it would be included in the show later on since the books are the source material.

Enjoying the analysis on here.. Some are very much on point. I like the fact that the TV adaptation varies majorly from the books. But the books will always remain source material, Thank goodness.

Amazing how each episode each has a different director. Not sure how that works out, but I like the results. Keeps things fresh. Can't imagine how much time, money and effort goes into shooting each season and we aren't even sure how long this show will run for.
Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by ApexTitan(m): 7:38am On Jun 04, 2015
^I think it's customary these days for a series to have different directors. Noticed that with all the shows I've watched, from House of Cards to Ray Donovan to The Newsroom. I don't think you will find any series with just one director, well maybe apart from animations.

Cary Joji Fukunaga directed all the episodes (8 in all) of the first season of the critically acclaimed HBO miniseries, True Detective. There are several other examples whereby one director oversaw the shooting of all the episodes in a complete season of a TV series: Big Love, United States Of Tara, Web Therapy, etc are but to name a few.

Oh that's cool, I assumed it was the norm the these days to have multiple directors for each show. Haven't seen any of the shows you mentioned though, perhaps will queue them up for later.

Wow! An army of undead and you guys are still wondering who will sit on the iron throne? Thank goodness those whitewalkers aren't targeting the iron throne 'cos nothing would have stopped them.

I am a book reader. I know all the spoilers. I have read all the released chapters from the next book. Spoilers do not harm me personally in any way. So keep that in mind, folks, when speculating about my motivation. Cheers.
