fashoo2010: And that my friend is a very good thing and proves we are moving in the right direction as far as political development is concerned. There are two sides to the fight against corruption - the hard power application which involves prosecution of offenders and the soft power approach which involves incentifying potential offenders not to commit. As Jonathan spoke, by sealing all areas of temptation but also of making access to office of past offenders (in whatever crime comitted wherever) a very hard task. It is so in any developed country and is the way to go in the future for us. That is what lawyers should do know in their spare time and the public should give them the needed support including informatiin that maybe inaccessible ordinarily. |

hadura29: The fact is you can fool others but do not need to fool yourself. A convicted criminal is definitely not the change Nigeria desire. In fact if APC dare to present this convict in any other election I would so work against him at the polls both spiritually n financially. The APC should without further delay trash his candidacy into everlasting lake of fire. This is definitely not the change I voted for. |

seunmsg: So with his rap sheet you feel he is okay to run for leadership of the Lower House. Let me ask you. Can you personally employ him to take care of your critical business offices. You can see what the problem of this country is. If we don't tackle these kinds of issues the fight against corruption is just a waste of time. I repeat again, corruption is NOT the most important problem bedevelling this country. |

OrlandoOwoh: There's no wrong time in exposing a convict. The APC I know can do beta than a convict for the speaker. It is a sacrifice they have to make for decency and integrity. Do not chose to be foolish not to see the wrong in the APC just because you want change. The APC as more men of impeccable character than this convict. There's no new or old convict. A convict is forever a convict. |

The suit was filed by Chukwuma Nwachukwu Esq and Osita K. Nwaikpo Esq of Law Bond Solicitors, Abuja. There names look suspicious. But this's the 3rd time this man is in the House? However if the information is valid. The law should prevail. There are too many people in Nigeria to have an Ex-con as an Honorable Speaker. However, Alamesiaya should be join in this suit too cos he's also an ex-con. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander |
