I agree Konga is way better. I used jumia once.. they delivered late and their delivery staff are highly unprofessional, asking me "how weekend go be" they didn't let me go till I tipped them on top the money I paid for my parcel. Asides that, they even came in an unmarked vehicle which just seemed wrong to me. I tried using them a second time and after making me wait for days, they called me to say the product I ordered was out of stock and I should order something else. With Konga, u can track ur order online and see its movement all the way from its country of origin to your doorsteps. This is Akin to the service rendered by massive international postal companies like UPS and DHL. Konga staff also have have marked vehicles so u know it's them plus they are very professional, just give u ur order, collect payment and leave instead of begging you for money.

Jumia and Konga are reading this Nairaland post about their services but are not sending their respective representative here to defend their services.

Please agree with me: Any of both companies that respond here within the next 48hrs would be rewarded as customers would take them more seriously.

Konga under my feet..Jumia to me has never disappointed but I don't know about you.In my company (Multi national) we use Jumia and they are perfect so far...

Konga in the other hand swindle me and a colleague on a useless tablet called "spark" a mal function tablet that didn't even last a week, we complain and they never help in whatever way, either to replace or repair..I can never forgive that useless konga cos they are unreliable!
Order for spark tablet and you will see for yourself.. Pathetic..

Jumia to me is still on point..sorry I use harsh words but I'm just pissed with what they did to us.

IMHO Jumia is far better than Konga. Konga items might be cheaper though. Was about to order a Microsoft phone on jumia but decided to check on Konga. Not only was it cheaper on Konga but it also came with free speakers exactly the same colour green as the phone. Wonderful. Problem was that I ordered an sd card also. Phone finally came after like a week after much complaints and i $h*t you not the memory card did not come for another 2week.

I don't know if it's kano only but I called and called. Talked to the manager. Their head office was even emailing me. Trying to track it, it said that there was a failed delivery attempt and I had rescheduled the delivery. Fat lie. The dispatch guy called me early one Saturday morning and said he was on the way with my item. As per cash on delivery had to make sure I had cash in me. Believe me this guy did not come. I waited for this guy throughout the day that Saturday. I called him with the number he woke me up with and he kept on answering and posting me forward. Telling me to please wait.

I could have ordered the memory card from Amazon through mallforafrica and it would have come before Konga eventually delivered. When he brought it I was shocked it was the same guy that brought the phone 2 whole weeks later. Of course I had bought another ad card by then.

This experience is probably preventing me from typing Konga.com with my fingers. Jumia deliveries are far smoother. The perfume side is better too. IMHO that is

honestly the owner of this thread is biased. you cant condemn jumia because u had a bad experience with them. jumia is barley 3 years and yet they have achieved so much within this time. for the mega phone sale, i was able to get two phones so its not a scam. some say konga is the best. some say jumia is the best..the truth is that you have to stick to what works for u. i believe with time, everywhere in nigeria will be cash on delivery . enugu ,uyo were recently added as cash on delivery states... its work in progress and surely both companies will get there

The one area I will fault both companies is their deals and promo sales - they're mostly scams, and I don't know why they do this. Its either the promo products are sold out or they give a ridiculous price and then discount it to the normal price of the item - very dishonest. And both companies are guilty of this.

Konga is far better than jumia in all aspects of online shopping. Hv bought a couple of things from them all with pay on delivery option and I don't regret doing so.... But I think they need to improve sha!

So simply cos u ordered those items and were delivered ,now means Konga is better? Tell us your experience with Jumia b4 u make conclusion.

The truth is both companies are still up coming and there is always room for improvement.

The Only issue with Jumia that i know is what others stated already and it has to do with POD.Aside that both companies are doing very well

Konga is better. Ordered blackberry Z3, Infinix zero,water dispenser, blender and 32 inch TV during the last year black Friday, all order was delivered in good condition. with POD.

blackberry Z3 was 40k then but was sold for 27k, can't wait for November 2015.

Konga still remains the WORST place for me to get electronic. I got one of their kitchen bundles I got one of their kitchen bundles (a cooking gas stove, an electric kettle and a mini oven). It was delivered at the time when we had poor electricity supply in my neighborhood hence I couldn't test upon delivery. The light was restored on the 5th day and I immediately tested the Oven(as that's the main reason for my Purchase.To my surprise, it didn't work. Immediately I sent a mail to konga, No response. I called the despatch guy, he referred me to the customer care. I called them and they said they would respond via email.
I recieved the mail on the 9th day and I was told the products grace day has elapsed and referred me to the producer's office.
My first and last time on konga

jumia scams people!!!
I bought a 15k perfume from them, they delivered even though not timely, it was the authentic quality but the content finished within two weeks! Oh my God, I was flabagasted when I pressed and nothing came out!
This is a perfume I normally use for almost half a year
