It is rather too early to start judging this administration, give them sometime and please let the first Lady be. The wrist watch could be a gift from anybody it's possible she doesn't even know the value of the wrist watch.

As much as I will like to free the first Lady.... The watch will continue to make us question the poor image Buhari fed us.

Personally, I knew it was just like the "I had no shoes well played" . We Nigerians are often too emotional and once a politician appeals to our emotions we throw caution to the wind and become a follower.

No ex leader of Nigeria can ever be poor after they leave office even if they continue to dash people money. Aside the mega allowances they get while in power, they get much more when they leave power... Did I say leave power, I meant when they vacate the office as they never leave the corridors of power.

The handlers of Buhari's campaign did a very good job.

Is Buhari really poor as he claimed?
Or could it be that he is poor while his wife is rich?
Or its all a game to attain their political goals?
I thought they say he's incorruptible, why's he making many sceptical about his credibility?
The North has ruled this country, more than any region in Nigeria, why are they our setback-cum-headache?
Buhari; for many who trust you, please don't fail them, cos for me,I'm just #WATCHING.
What is the definition of poor?

I can say, he is comfortable but NOT wealthy.

Is Seun Osewa(Nairaland owner) poor?

Is you and I poor? That is debatable!

We can afford some things but others cannot. In that sense, we are rich.

Out of all Nigeria presidents from 1979 till date, he is very very poor.

even the poor overtime can afford Aisha's Buhari's 129 dollars watch 26000 naira but not even some so called rich can afford David mark gold plaited 200000 dollars 40 million naira watch gift to Jonathan, and aisha bought hers with her sweat I can't say that of David mark.

First of all you did not vote for Buhari. secondly, Buhari has never portrayed any "I am poor" image, you can only say people perceive him as being incorrigible. not being corrupt does not translate to being poor. And if you compare all these watches that made you think he is rich with what people that held similar position with him, you will agree that he is indeed poor by that standard. Bottom line most people didn't vote for Buhari because he is poor. they voted for him because of his anti corruption stance, and I don't see any indication to believe that my wife wearing a 10 million watch as a former president indicates that I am corrupt.

Poverty is not absence of money. I wish and multitude of people wish they could be as rich as Buhari.

One thing is clear the watch in question was not purchased with money from government treasury - unlike oristejafor's jet.

APC is not known for beer parlor gist... Can you support your claim with hard facts. You may need to define what rich means to you. Dangote and Otedola do they qualify as rich? Can they afford it?
