parrotibaba:Coventry. Match played by our rookies. All these were just one offs. Even Barca lose matches. Find another excuse not going to list matches spanning 5 seasons. |

parrotibaba:Obertan, bebe, etc never bossed games like Anderson and Cleverley did. Cleverley was already a feared midfielder in 2008. In 2011 he had come of age. All of a sudden he couldnt come out of a three months injury half himself. We should questioned those who manage his return to fitness. |

olabode89: Can you show me where I said the above. The bolded? When guys here lose argument, they change it to look as if they had a genuine point. I said our backroom staff mismanaged our players in Ferguson's last few years. Then starboard and co said I was blaming SAF. I stated categorically that I was pointing at the backroom staff, I even mentioned that possibly the change of assistant caused it. But they went back to say I blame Ferguson to get sympathy from readers like you. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 3:51pm On Jun 07, 2015 |
parrotibaba:Exactly. Carrick will not last half a season before he goes for a long rest. Evra got his muscles resurrected in Juventus. Berbatov was on a steady decline. Kagawa was going to be on a steady decline. Anderson and Cleverley on a steady decline. Compare the above players with Pogba and Tevez. |

tess1:Where is Ferdinand today? The same intensity training is what we have today under Gaal. Weak bones will always complain. |

coogar:You dont know tactics. When we were to play Liverpool in the return leg, I wrote on this thread that Liverpool will not play Sterling on the left. They would be avoiding a Sterling vs Valencia clash because Val has the speed to stop him. They would rather he faced Blind. On match day, that was exactly what happened. Some players do well against certain layers, it's not matter who is a better footballer. Vidic always did well against Drogba- power vs power. But Vidic was always eaten for Dinner by Torres. Football is sense and tactics. |

elampiro:What a question! You expect Ferdinand at 36yrs plus to still be playing top flight football. He retired at the normal age most defenders retires. At what age did Carragher and Gary Neville retired? Fellaini that came with him must be a lazy bone as well after getting to Man Utd despite training under him for so many years. He didn't get his rhythm until a certain LVG came. elampiro:And who was the head of the backroom staff? Even, blaming SAF backroom staff is indirectly blaming SAF because everything they did was done under his watch. Why are people not giving credits to his backroom staff for the success he achieved throughout his career at Utd? Whatever his backroom staff did must have gotten his approval. elampiro:Looooooooooooooooooooooool! Who feared Cleverley as a midfielder in 2008? When did he make his competitive debut for Man Utd? Where was Cleverley playing in 2008? There's no point continuing this. Cleverley "already feared as a midfielder in 2008". I give up. |

elampiro:Nna please provide a link where I said such. stop the slander. I don't pander around for sentiments. You clearly said and I quote " I keep saying, Ferguson backroom staff instilled laziness into our players and 'killed' some. Our players became the most lazy in the EPL and the older ones retired before their age mates in other clubs. If Terry and Distin can still play very well why shouldn't Ferdinand and Vidic? Players like Anderson should be ruling the league now." www.nairaland.com/871307/official-manchester-united-fan-thread/1677 you started this nonsense and now you're playing the reporting victim game. If Ferguson's backroom staff allowed players to be lazy like you claimed above, then Fergie is a bad boss whether he knowingly or unknowingly let such happen. you said the players became lazy. How do you want to absolve Fergie from this bogus claim of yours( without faacts or figures or stats)? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 4:56pm On Jun 07, 2015 |
tess1:Bros don't give up. He must retract that nonsense he said. He's adding even more cr.ap to his already bogus claims. now I am appealing to other people according to him because we are picking the fishnet holes in his logic. im sure he's expecting his folk to jump to defence. but even that will not save him. |

elampiro:that would be the same Pogba whom you felt years ago we didn't need when forum members questioned Fergies decision to let him walk away in 2012. Suddenly to attempt to make your point you label Pogba a "powerful" and "hardworking" player to suit your argument. suddenly Fergie who was right by you to have let Pogba go years ago is being victimized by you (unknown to you though, because you say a lot of stuff in general without checking to see where you hsve been previously) because he kept "lazy" ones and let a "hardworker" one go. |

SAF's backroom staff made our players lazy? I've definitely heard it all now. |

Adam Bate picks out five questions for England manager Roy Hodgson after the team’s 0-0 draw with Republic of Ireland on Sunday… Below is the excerpt that concerns our two players: What is Rooney's best position? This was not exactly a game to remember for many people in the Aviva Stadium but few performed further below par than Wayne Rooney. The low point came when the England captain squandered the clearest opening of the game - failing to control a Jordan Henderson pass that looked to have put him through on the Ireland goal. He cut an isolated figure for periods of the game, attempting only 14 passes in 74 minutes, and while England assistant Gary Neville has admired the way that Rooney had embraced seeing less of the ball at Manchester United under Louis van Gaal, this was a test of that theory. What is Jones's best position? Former Manchester United and England midfielder Paul Scholes suggested in the build-up to Sunday's game that Phil Jones, his former team-mate, might not be clever enough to succeed at centre-back. Jones found himself at right-back against Ireland and produced a typically spirited performance in getting forward up the flank. However, his physical characteristics mean that he is surely better suited to a central role. As Scholes points out, showing he has the savvy to match is another matter. Jones is 23 now and needs to nail down a role soon. http://m.skysports.com/article/football//9877960 JACK OF ALL TRADE smh |

elampiro:this is just rubbish! liverpool lined up based on the calibre of players they had available in the game. Some players do well against certain layers, it's not matter who is a better footballer. Vidic always did well against Drogba- power vs power. But Vidic was always eaten for Dinner by Torres.so how come fergie never hid vidic from torres? has there been any game we played against liverpool & vidic was fit but fergie refused to play him cos of torres? if you cannot find one game like this then you are talking nonsense.Football is sense and tactics.claiming fergie hid rooney from gerrard is nonsense & tactical hara-kiri. |

chrisley024:It's an unfortunate situation, especially with Rooney... all that earnings & yet have no idea if he's even the best for any position in LvG's squad! the management's biggest mistake this summer will be to rely on Rooney as our point man next campaign - shrek is clearly not that good anymore. |

olabode89:rooney was the worst player on the pitch against ireland. i have seen enough to know rooney is past it. he's become a massive liability like gerrard was to liverpool this year. LVG should get 2 world class strikers. if rooney buckles up & plays better than them then fair play. if they play better than rooney, then rooney should sit on the bench or be the choice striker in the FA cup games! we will never win a major trophy with rooney in the line-up. |
