I'm a male with the natural kinky Black African hair. I see some other people's curly hair and I like it. I've tried to replicate it on my hair by applying relaxer but I've noticed something: When my hair is wet (that is, immediately after bathing or washing my hair), it takes that lovely curly beautiful texture I want, but when the water on the hair dries up and the hair becomes dry, it goes back to the ugly kinky looks. Please, what do I do to the hair to make it retain that wet look all day long? Is there anything I can be applying to keep the hair looking fresh and curly all day long as it looks when it's wet, and how do I apply it? Thanks. I may attach some photos to show you what I mean better.

Start using the Idole cream twice a week only. You can buffer it down with a simple cream like Revlon pure honey or good old shea butter. Then do it once a week till you stop within next two months. Use a sunscreen of spf30 or higher. Stop the soap. Tip: when lightening, focus on parts with more exposure with a sunscreen n be mild on hidden parts of the body. Sebamed has a good sunscreen but there are others.

U need to visit a salon to get ur hair texturized. They can do you a cold wave Wch is like a mild form of relaxer. You will have to maintain the look by applying a texturizer or hair activator daily and retouching the cold waves.
Hope this helps.

There are many factors really.
Do those heavy chores wearing rubber gloves!
Clean nails with polish remover before applying nail polish
Use a base coat before nail polish
Apply nail polish in thin layers at least 3 thin layers then use top coat even around the edges.
Let it dry at least 45mins then dip in cold water then use a hand moisturizer or oil so it sets.

Tip; shimmering and glittering nail polish lasts much longer especially when used on plain ones.

U can use any simple moisturizer really but if you don't want to go darker then find one with a sunscreen or get a separate sunscreen. Revlon pure honey, eucerin, jergens, Sebamed, neutrogena with active copper etc will do.

Use cocoa butter or shear butter. Or just get a stretch mark cream like Palmers brand.

jeomegso, Thanks for the great job you've been rendering here. I seem to demand what the problem might seem like, My hair get dry alot & Hard to touch, Have been relaxing n making use of coconut oil as prescribed by some folks, It really seems to work but not efficient , or lemme say as soft and light like the way i really want .

What kinda suggestion would prescribe for me.

secondly, I would love a prescription of toning/moisturizers that would help restore the fair light skin dude have always been cos I'm schooling in a sun shine state.

Thanks

Goodmorning Ma.

I use fair and white (carrot) soap. But i do not apply any cream because I sweat a lot. Please, What other alternatives can I use to make my skin glow that would not make me sweat.

Thank you.

Fair and white classic white may work for you.

You need to regularly deep-condition ur hair at least once a month. If you were using a regular relaxer, try using Super. Always condition with a good conditioner.

Be steadfast, stretch marks don't build in a day. It will take time to clear. Also practice exercise.

Mosturizers make me sweat

Av you tried the ones I listed?
If you must keep your skin supple u must moisturize.
Maybe you should consider using it at night.

Almost all relaxers have their Super version. I personally like Organics.
Is it the Clearasil for acne? With Salicylic acid?
