Guys ddg has not said anything yet (which is annoying by d way) .Goal.com never quoted his words nor his representatives in dat article ,so it's just a rumor |

If DDG really does decide to leave, then dats just sad coz no Top Club (and its fans) in d world(except Dortmund) ll ever show so much faith, respect and support for a player as we ve shown DDG this last three(or is it four) years. We re back in Europe and we ve a real chance of competing for titles nxt season with DDG at the heart of our defence and d guy just wants to leave us hanging. Not cool!! Still wish him d best if he eventually decides to leave tho. Besides how long ll English teams sit by and continue to watch as the likes of Madrid and Barca continue to poach the leagues best players?? There's no way EPL can compete with LaLiga if all our best players keep going there. C.Ro, Bale, Suarez, "DDG" and in the future Hazard(potential C.Ro replacement). The UCL trophy stays in Spain for another year and with 5 Spanish teams competing in the UCL next season, the trophy might just as much stay in Spain for the 3rd staright yr. |

parrotibaba:For me, I think DeGea is set to leave. The signs aren't good, in reality, in light of him staying. I just hope he doesn't drag this far into the window where we would be forced to pay over the odds for his replacement, whomever that may be. He should at least settle the speculation as quickly as possible, out of respect for United. |

Manchester United and England defender Phil
Jones has dismissed Paul Scholes’s criticism of
his centre-back performances, but admits he
must become more consistent.
Jones played at right-back ahead of Nathaniel
Clyne as England laboured to a goalless draw
against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on
Sunday. Scholes claimed on ITV yesterday that he was better suited to a role on the flank because he “tends to get dragged out of position quite easily”. Scholes added: “At right-back you still need to be clever positionally but I think he can use his pace and power and he hasn’t got a bad delivery either. I just think at centre-half he is not quite clever enough to do it.” However, the 23 year old responded : “People comment all the time about individuals. “Gone are the days when I used to take notice of what people say and react to it. It doesn’t bother me one little bit anymore. “I am at the stage now where I can’t be considered as a young player anymore. I have got to step up, keep playing well and do what I do best.” He added: “I was no [Andrea] Pirlo or something like that, do you know what I mean? I could have told you that before the game! “I can laugh about it now but I try and do the job as best I can. I know I’m not an out-and-out midfielder who is going to get on the ball and start spraying it about. I know what I am good at and I try and stick to that. “I have played in all three [positions] now and sometimes it can be difficult going from one position to the next but I feel more comfortable at right-back. |

The lack of champions league football last
season did not stop Manchester United from
passing Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to
reclaim their position as the biggest brand in
world football, becoming the first club to
pass the $1billion mark.
The Red Devils are now worth just over
$1.2bn (£787.5m), almost $300m more than
second-placed Bayern. Real Madrid,
Manchester City and Chelsea round out the
top five. |

raumdeuter:what is the meaning of this nothing? the position of Real Madrid & Barca on the map seem to be the bait for non-Spanish speaking murrafuckers, given their disciples outside Spain is second only to England. even when Real almost certainly exits the UCL in the second round, they still managed to recruit albeit @ inflated fees. ... & yes most of the locals in the UK are just not talented enough, so academies have even tougher routines both identifying the scarce talents & poaching raw materials from the other parts of Europe, who may decide to slither towards "warmer" climes once they float ... |

^^ Madrid and Barcelona are seen as the best teams in Europe for the past few years and the prestige that comes with playing in those clubs is attractive to any player. So if you are a footballer and you want to be the best / feel like you are the best the next thing is to aspire to play in those 2 clubs Every single FIFA World player of the year in the past 20yrs played for either of the two teams at some point in his career. Thats history that money cannot buy. All those times Man Utd was richer than the two clubs. So for those thinking it had to do with money No it doesnt Ronaldo would move to Madrid even if Man Utd offered him 1m/yr in 2008 |

raumdeuter:na true shaa ,look at d likes of Bale dat we offered better money for yet he chose Madrid cos de r his childhood club ,almost every player on d planet wants to play for either real Madrid or Barcelona ,no amount of money can buy dat |

parrotibaba:Off topic. Thats the difference between a Man Utd and a Chelsea fan. If na Chelsea fan I type the above to and replace Man Utd with Chelsea they would start arguing blindly saying I am trying to insult their club compare that to the way you agreed Bayern is my team and I would say it anyday we dont have half the attraction and pull of Madrid |

raumdeuter:the culture is a big pull. only brazil does not speak spanish in the whole of south america.....and the portugese language brazil speaks is very similar to spanish......it's like pidgin & english. their weather is also similar to the tropics... there's no way a south american wouldn't prefer la liga to any other league in europe. their tax law is also a bit mild compared to england. |

^^ Even the Europeans like Figo, Zidane Canavaro, Zlatan, C Ronaldo, Beckham, Owen, Ruud, Bale, Robben Fabregas, Thuram, Stoichkov, etc all left their big clubs the moment Barca or Madrid called. It was because of our stronghead and the sex scandal that made us able to stop Ribery from moving around 2010 |

UniqueGem:if de gea leaves the best option we have is cech. Van der sar was pretty fair and he keep getting better, So will cech. To your last statement, had it mean cech remain first choice at Chelsea he would have been 2nd best GK behind ddg. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 5:00am On Jun 09, 2015 |
UniqueGem:not too many available upgrades on de gea you have to admit. at this point we may have to settle for an option. |
