Cluelessness is already creeping into u ppl. Tinubu wants his boys in key positions so they can propagate the progresiver agenda. If he starts loosing key positions to opposition members in same party it means he becomes handicapped and which means the ACN path of APC becomes subdued. This would maker SW members retrace their steps. PDP is the smart ones here. All they want is discord in the APC just as the APC created discord in the PDP. PDP knows they don't have the numbers to be relevant but one thing is sure they are united. For example I can tell you the outcome of this election would go a long way to determine buhari's ministers. Don't forget there is still the ameachi's cacus who still does not want tinubu a Godfather in the party. They would all destroy demslves. Once the fulanis take over then the SW, SE and SS will unite again to take them down. And am yourba so do not think am igbo.

lol Joker...
what kind of Yoruba spells Yoruba as "Yourba" ...
we can all see through your lies .....

Saraki a fulani man is now the senate president.
You can call the fulani anything but you can't call them a fool.
[s]The fulani is the most political sophisticated ethnic group in sub-saharan africa.[/s]
The igbo ethnic group need to learn politics of leveraging from them.

No, sub-saharan Africa doesn't revolve around Nigeria.

They might be the most politically sophisticated in Nigeria, based on the colonial structure left behind by the Brits, but outside Nigeria - Fulanis are inconsequential. Their leverage starts and ends in Nigeria

They're the overwhelming majority in Guinea and almost twice the population of the Mandinka - but Mandinka dominate the politics. Ditto Senegal where they have a sizable population, but aren't really dominant politically. Stop the madness!

Saraki has never admitted is a yoruba rather he prefer to be a fulani.

He won't admit it.
Actually the father of Saraki snr is from Abeokuta in Ogun state. He sent his son to live with his aunty in Ilorin n over the years, Saraki snr (fondly called Oloye) embedded himself into d Ilorin culture, fraternised well with d people and decided to claim the place (naturalization). Oloye is so loved by Ilorin people for his generosity, they claim him too as their son. Since then d Saraki dynasty is known to be from Ilorin and through d efforts n political aspirations of Oloye, kwara state was annexed to Northern Nigeira.....story for another day!

The man elected, I see him as a corrupt man even with d issue of subside which is even involved too as broadcast. I do not see this man taking forward

Dis is 1 of d biggest permutation in politics.
Saraki vs jagaban
it is actually atiku vs tinubu. this is a continuation of the apc primaries which atiku lost to buhari. Without the senate under tinubu power, he will become useless to buhari as time goes on , kwankwanso too is among the atiku faction. This is the battle for the control of apc. If both chambers go to the atiku faction ,buhari will have no choice but to relegate and neglect tinubu ,

I stand corrected.
But then given the fact that one out of every five africans is a Nigerian, i think any ethnic group that can politically dominate Nigeria without apology is the real deal.

Population shouldn't be a factor, since Nigeria is a single entity - with a structure maliciously created for one group to dominate politically from the get-go. The North, regardless of the numerous ethnic groups there, was created to dominate. While the South was divided into two. And even if you were to make the South one - the North still has leverage in terms of numbers. And politics is a game of number.

Anyway, the man imposed by the opposition isn't Fulani - he can pass for either Fulani or Yoruba, depending on what he chooses to align with. But his ancestry is Yoruba. So I don't know why you lot tout Fulanis as being better than they actually are, given that everything was handed to them in Nigeria on a platter of gold.

According too constitution saraki is a northerner and not from the west. the equation from in the senate is still north central and south east as it stand now. not south west by proxy.

They don't see themselves as yoruba but fulanis, and i don't blame them.
Claiming yoruba will not do them much good politically.

Precisely....political expediency! This is d reason Oloye aligned kwara state to d north...purely for political gains which paid off for him then. And who can blame his children for toeing his path. If Bukola is told by his father he's Fulani from d north, what else do u expect him to believe. But do fulanis bear yoruba names...that should tell us something. Na dem sabi, for me I'm just happy Tinubu got served grin

Oh I agree with u completely. As of today Kwara state is in north central zone. That Yorubas exist in Togo does not make them Nigerians. Tribes cut across borders and we do know that our boundary mapping in Nigeria for states etc is less than perfect.
So as it stands d new SP is a northerner from NC zone. Shikena

Senator Ahmed Lawan(Borno), who emerged

Bukola Saraki was the only nominated candidate on the floor. APC has done her home work and has avoid loop holes for PDP to sneek in.

PDP is still and will remain opposition till 2019 when we the electorate will decide next again.

It only we the electorate that determine the Umbrella or Broom.

Long live Nigeria

So as you say, they also alligned with PDP to produce the deputy senate president? Ike is still so this is not APC manoveur but a strong opposition in effect. Good for d center. Abuja is going to be heated.

Lol, I don't care about internet rats.

Anyway, APC folks have got their work cut-out - they have to overturn this, to maintain their political credibility. It's their ordained right as the majority.

Failure to do so won't be funny at all. And they still owe the G7 leaders a lot for the unseen hands. And they also gave Nigerians high expectations about making "history". Time to roll their sleeves up - get dirty and get busy.

In Nigeria's political landscape, it pays d Sarakis to claim to be northerners, Bukola's father ingrained that in him. But their history is another story....their origin is yoruba, for sure. Fulanis don't bear yoruba names from generation to generation.

And Nigeria contains half of all Fulanis, and is also arguably the most economically and geo-politically important country on the entire continent.
So, your point does not stand....
You cant claim the Fulanis are politically dominant in Nigeria because of the "structure left behind by the British", and then type from the same fingers that they are inconsequential in Guinea and Senegal now-a-days. Because if you know your history, wou will know that they were the hegemonic ethnic group in those countries as well, before the French came and clipped their expansionist and intimidating sophistication with cannons and Guns. Anyways, in case you are not aware, The present president of Senegal Sall is a Fulani/Pullo, while Guinea is totally dominated by Fulanis Economically and gradually, culturally as well. They are presently trying to get political power, and I believe they will get it, as soon as they ally themselves with a smaller ethnic group in the country
Just watch ad see.
