A lot remains to be heard of this entire episode. I'm not putting my eggs anywhere yet until the President speaks.

I don't know, but has anyone spared a thought to imagine perhaps, this was orchestrated by the presidency to ensure the inclusion of the SE in the bigger scheme of things since they would have been totally excluded had the Party's preferred candidate emerged??

Just a hunch though.

"Has the president ever spoken before? " We keep hearing Garba Shehu speak and term it the President speaking lipsrsealed . In the last tenure, the SW was never represented and heaven didn't fall. The sooner we know all these positions benefit only the persons occupying them the better for us

When it goes right, you all shout Tinubu, when it goes wrong, you all shout Tinubu. Everyone seems to be an analyst guessing here and there. Nigerians are true mirror of their leaders.

So, you call senator Olusola Saraki Hausa man? Have you been to Ilorin before? Today Ilorin belongs to Yoruba. You need not be reminded of your refugee status. Not my fault, your forefathers caused it.

The APC have themselves to blame for how this whole thing turned out. They were just too dull.
They underestimated the PDP forgetting that 16 years in power is not a joke. They know how to play the game well.

I think APC needs to have a re-think and put their house in order,so that what happens to PDP won't happen to their party. But to be candid i'm Disappointed with the way APC handled this inauguration issue.

I knew there was trouble in hell when Saraki called VP Osunbade* a common commissioner not fit to call him for a meeting..Chai!! Chai!! Chai cry . Where are those people insulting Sambo?? Atleast no one in PDP has disrespected him this much. Chai, Chai, Chai!! And I thought with Buhari everyone would be jittery to satisfy his wimps, wosai?? He's not the Juju some people think he is after all
Re: Nigerian Tweeters React To Saraki & Ekweremadu's Emergence As Senate Leaders by hansad: 2:23pm On Jun 09, 2015
But what can Saraki and Ekweremadu do to change the political structure and military constitution imposed upon Nigeria by northern soldiers? Nothing.

Nigeria's military political structure and military constitution that legalizes the structure can only be changed in a National Conference - not posssible in the National Assembly

With the 19 states + Abuja in the north, with three senators from every state, that assures that whatever north wants in Nigeria gets done.

South of Nigeria was asleep when soldiers loyal to Fulani created the present 36 states political structure by wrongly using land mass as criterion to proliferate 19 states and Abuja in once one region north, but only 17 states in the once three regions south.

Land mass is never used in any true federation to create federating units - as done in Nigeria.

The political structure makes northern politicians smile home every allocation day with north getting most of Nigeria's revenues.

give it up because Saraki has come to stay
He won't last. He will be consumed by his intrigues. How do you think the 51 senators that weren't present will feel. He will pay dearly for it.
