I don't think it's a bad thing. Had the same issue (even though I knew my LMP down to the last exact minute). My doctor kept calculating one week earlier but the Ultrasound showed the exact EDD (a week later). If there was an issue, a doctor would have mentioned it.

Don't worry. Measuring a week or two ahead or behind is not a big deal.

Dint your dr tell you this?

It can be due to diff reasons. No 1. Is your period may not be 28 days which is the standard they use in generating this due date by lmp

The best you can do is 7-8weeks and that is cutting it quite cloooossseee... Do you know a 36wks baby's lungs are fully developed & if one were to go into labour at that time most drs and hospitals won't try to stop the process, all they'll do is to keep the baby for observarion for a day or so cos the baby will not need any breathing assistance at that GA so which sane airline will airlift you at 37wks let alone @ 38wks ?

Let's now say you do a 37 wks fast one (where you'll get a dr/hospital that late in a non emergent situation is another epistle) & baby comes @ 39wks, won't you get bc? What about tha almighty blue pali that made you take the risk in the 1st place?

The earliest a baby can board a plane is 7days post delivery and I wonder how you can get all docs earlier than 4wks, we aren't even considering the 6wks post natal visit.

Re:38 weeks, None: it's not even safe for you. You can give birth in the aircraft.
For the baby most drs recommend at last 6 wks, the earliest I have heard is 4 wks

Good morning to all mums and soon to be mums in the house, please mums I'm a soon to be mother and I'll like to find out from your personal experiences what exact week u found out the sex of ur baby.....I'm 19 weeks along and the last time I checked the gender couldn't be identified....also would like to find out if its okay to always have a warm bath....Thanks in anticipation of ur sincere responses.

i was a bit undecided whether to raise the issue here or there- especially my concerns on what stage of the pregnancy to travel (as i thought thats health related) and that was why i thought, eff it lemme bring it here .

your baby could have been 'shy' with the legs closed which made it difficult for the sonographer to see the genitals. next time, wriggle your hips lightly or lie on your sides briefly to 'annoy' your baby and get baby to move/change position.

when you say warm bath? do you mean soaking yourself in a warm bathtub? well, thats not recommended by midwives/doctors. however, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a warm shower as long as the water is not VERY hot.

I don't really no of detergent, but the last time I was at shoprite, I saw liquid soap for baby's clothing, mayb you should check shoprite or any supermarket.

You can use any detergent then add COMFORT when you want to rinse.

I need your opinion.
I'm contemplating VBAC 11mths after CS, mostly because it's what my doctors prefer and secondly it's cheaper.

Whatt do you think? I got preg 8 - 10 weeks after the last delivery, sincerely, it's given me sleepless nights because I'm due in August and the docs want my decision before end of July.
