Tinubu is a local champion yet he single handedly installed the ungrateful Buhari who could not win beyond his Northern enclave for twelve years. Tinubu is a local champion yet Bode George could not win a single ward in Lagos state. Tinubu is a local champion yet he formed a national party that brought every part of Nigeria together under one party. Tinubu's legacies are endless. Critics should therefore keep quiet.

Pls leave GEJ defeat out of this as d man has already moved on nd even became a hero in defeat. Leave SE out too as nobody has told u we regretted voting GEJ. All the pain d SE might have bc of d absence of apc legislators from d zone has been compensated (even over-compensated) with d emmergence of Ekweremadu as Deputy Senate President. You are right. Not entirely though. Northerners are not smart by any metrics when it comes to politics. They use religion. Simples. It is us in the South who use ideology spiced with big-big grammer to bring our own down. We shot down Jonathan but they kept a dead man (Yar'Adua) in power in the North. They rely on social solidarity while we rely on merit! That is the difference which in saner climes would put us head and shoulder above them. Not in Nigeria anyway where politics is all about primordial sentiments!

Politicians are mostly shameless people irrespective of age. In my opinion Tinubu still appears more progressive minded that most in this pack of crooks.

He changed the face of Lagos. He produced Fashola. He assisted GEJ to win southwest in 2011, even against his party's Presidential flagbearer. But GEJ stabbed him in the back. The people of southwest were abandoned by GEJ and PDP until 6 weeks before the elections when they started running in and out of Yorubaland appeasing kings and subjects.

Tinubu made APC possible. He saw to the emergence of Buhari as candidate and president eventually. He gave in to Buhari to have Osinbajo. What is his sin?

He is not a saint nor corruption free, but he is more patriotic than most of his political cohort.

I hope Buhari, like GEJ, will not betray us again.
