Look nobody is making noise about Dogara's case because he played well just like Tambuwa but some fools are comparing Saraki's with Tambuwa- when did Senate inaugurate without almost half of the members presen? if Saraki had waited he would have won still. There have been celebration all over east but SSG would have favoured them than deputy senate president that will be rendered useless in this dispensation unlike under Gej that gave house leaders free hand. Now SSG is going S/South.

In 2011 when Hon. Aminu Tambuwal ploted a coup against his party he pulled a total votes of 252 against the party's favoured candidate Mulikat Akande Adeola, who got 90 votes, it was a difference of 162 votes, Tambuwal still really struggled in the house to survive impeachment, yesterday's coup saw Hon. Yusuf Dogara pulling 182 against Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila's 174, a difference of 8. While only 57 senators out of 108 elected Dr. Bukola Saraki a difference of 6. This two officers needs to be very careful not to hurt PDP, otherwise i fear for them because most of their party members are not with them, can they survive these four years?

What difference does it make? Simple fact is that Saraki was elected by majority of the senators. Conduct the election again even with all senators present, the same majority will return Saraki. I don't understand all these noise from Tinubu salves

Hmmnn! It is going to be interesting. This 8th assembly will be filled with intrigues. APC can't impeach Saraki because that will create room for PDP to be the senate president in Ekweremadu. If they must impeach, it will be both President and deputy. Even at that, they won't get 2/3 because PDP will not want their own to go because they won't get deputy in another election.

The only way is through the court which in a way, is easily controlled by the presidency or money to entice some greedy elements. More Judas! We might just see some funny arithmetic from this senate set.

Hopeful or not, I think he deserves a chance. If he perfomes, he'll be vindicated and we'll be better for it. If not, we'll kick his *ss back to Daura in 2019 and try someone else. Simple.

To the APC, Saraki is nothing but a cankerworm and if APC must retain that status that made the Nigerian people to vote them into the helm of the affairs, there is a need for them to boot him out of their fold. Anyways, I'm not too surprised about his action, guy man is just following the footsteps of his late father. They fight so hard at politics as if 'power' was their birthright. Only those who had no idea of what the 'Kwarans' suffered under the political godfatherism of his father would support his utmost display of greed and hunger for power. Mr Man, dont twist issues! Tambuwal own is different from saraki's! Tambuwal was ELECTED BY THE FULL HOUSE and NOT a portion, just like Dogara! Why are people not raising eye brow concerning the proceedings of the green chamber if it wasnt normal?? Politics asides, the bulk of APC senators were disenfranchised! Most likely. Don't mind the hypocrites. They accepted all the decampees from pdp and now that they are in power, they wanna start acting all disciplined.

What happened yesterday is very, very good for our democracy. Atiku, obj, tambuwal, Saraki, marwa, amaechi and a host of apc members were part of the pdp. So it has always been the same party(people) but different party names. Nothing is ever gonna change.
