PLEASE URGENT O! Which bank is cheaper for payment of tuition via Visa/MasterCard. I want to pay for my tuition today as time is running out. As I read from previous post, it seems like Diamond and First Bank are good, but if anyone paid lately with any bank, please help me with the exchange rate. My head is spinning due to "no time". Thanks as I await response from different folks.

Use Diamond Bank.

My personal person grin!!! Thank you so much for your advice and assistance. God bless You!

Team12 team12 team12!!! where is your tithe and offering na.......Congrats they couldn't have refused you with your academic prowess and professional exploits. You are a big woman here in your own rights......you know what I mean grin. From my observation, there are two classes of applicants....the excellent category and the average category. Believe you me the first category are always more favoured in getting visa of any country than the second category. The excellent category are the people who has above 75 percent in there undergraduate and/or have very valuable work experience. This is why i will always advise undergraduates that has plans to check out of naija in the nearest future to embrace their academics with all sense of diligence and try to finish with very good CGPA. Laziness finished most of us including myself. Canada does not want just immigrants, they want raw talents. Congrats kol1234. Darefestus dont worry, it is for a reason. Refire and work on that personal asset stuff. Canada need your talent and see you soon in SK..........hey haykinsbfx.................baba o grin grin grin grin go collect your trv joooooor grin grin "ashe o ti e le"

Good afternoon everyone, i just registered on NL today someone refer to this forum he said there are experienced people here. Hopefully there will be people who would be kind enough to help me out. My problem goes thus. (1) i wanted to apply to a college in canada sheridan to be precise cuz i hav someone who lives in Brampton that i can stay with so i wouldn't have to worry about accommodation and living expenses but the problem is the tuition fee it's way too much because my dad is a government worker who doesn't have much, so i tried to look for cheaper options and i saw brandon University which is affordable. I want to know if a part time job can cover my cost of living and accommodation and how easy it is one can get a job let's say maybe after a month of getting there (2) I'm 22 years old and i finished secondary school in 2010 i hope that won't affect me one way or the other (3) can i use my uncle from my mother's side as a sponsor we have diff surname and diff religion (4) can i still apply for admission this year or it's already late. Please don't say i typed to much your reply will be appreciated

The irony of the situation is that in smaller cities where you can find affordable tuition getting a job as quickly as possible might be difficult. I have wanted to state here that for those who are looking to sponsor themselves they should avoid those small cities or towns because getting a job will be difficult and if you eventually do get a job it might pay you just the minimum wage. If you so wish to come to Canada I would advice you just apply for a one year program in any good city where jobs will be readily available. It took me three months to get a job even though I started looking of a job even before my plane land sef. I know peeps from here who have being in Canada for almost a year and still haven't gotten a job;you might want to call them lazy but no, they are not. Them don find job them don tire.

You are 100% correct but in a quest to leave Nigeria sharpaly, finding job might not be running through a lot of people's thought process.

Let me be the first to release good news from those on the list of TRV hopefuls....

I just got a request for my medicals....I almost fainted when i got the email and was shaking as I was logging into my account.

But I did an upfront medicals sha and i uploaded the proof of medicals to my app. I guess I will just contact the hospital to send my result.

I am soooo happy, considering the fact that I applied with my daughter... I Can't stop thanking God.

...and to think that I just sent @Taike an email telling her how scared I am and I also sent @mrnlbrown an email for an option 2 with aussie...

Applied 15 may (online)
Biometrics 19 May
medical call 11 June

Less than a month!!! Na God win ooooo

Hello everyone, just want to announce that by the grace of God, I have just received a request for medicals. My application wasn't perfect in my eyes, but I thank God for His favour. Special thanks also to @SeyiMiilan, @haustralia and @seiraries, who specifically responded to my various requests, to @pchax, whose SOP was a template upon which I developed mine, and to other members of this thread who continue to provide support and information to those in need. May God grant you all your heart desires. Amen.

@Seyimiilan, so sori for d delay, refire as soon as possible for God's plan to b perfected.
While going thru ur docs, I found out u didn't include receipt of ur $1500 acceptance fee(seat reservation) as required by Conestoga. I am thinking that's why "purpose of visit" was ticked cos it is the $1500 that secures your place in the college.

Hello guys.
I'm completing my online app. Pls, i need help here: The cost of my studies will be Tuition, Room and board, others. Pls, what should be under room and board, n others? Should i write an estimated living expenses?

You hv bn with us since Part7.. This question hs bn answered several times..
Room and Board depends on ur province. People normally put 10,000 CAD..
'Others' is like miscellaneous, you can put frm 5k and above..
NB: those figures are for 1year ooo..
*i stand to be corrected*
