Money spent is liability As far as there is no profit. So Wedding expense is a liability except the donations received is beyond the expense. I do not advise anyone to spend money on weddings.

Money spent on an investment without profit is a loss. Besides, marriage is a limited liability partnership. Whether big or small, money is been spent anyway.

I guess it depends on the size of your bank account and budget. Also on how grand you want the memory of your wedding event to be.
