The mistake we make is to think our politicians align with political parties over difference in ideologies, they do so over self-interest and political ambition. APC and PDP are not enemies, they are simply same Nigerian politicians associating in the best interest of their ambitions and interest.

I think this Vice President thing is beginning to get to me and with every picture you guys dig up, it is actually saddening. To see him a million miles away looking rejected is not good while the President sits comfy with his pals. If the critical thinking was a balance between APCwest and APCnorth, between moslem and christian, between politician and technocrat then it may not be worth it afterall. Is Buhari trying to prove that he should have been allowed to make his choices or is the contest for other positions such as the ministerials causing suspicion and this 'cold shoulder'. Any way the APC had better sort it out fast, permit Buhari to 'lead' the oarty inDEED. Which means give him a free hand and tow his ideology. When he says 'I am willing to work with....', it means the APC should cease fire against the Legislature and get to work.

In as much as there is freedom of association for the speaker but the circumstances surrounding his emergence and the tide of the present time would have made him to be more cautious in his current visits. Its not wrong par say but he needs to give room for trust and love to develop between him and his party members. He would have just shelved this visit for now.
Good observation. The visit sends bad signals. The heat of his emergence is still on and he should be sympathetic to the feelings of the party members in general. I think both he and Saraki want to drive home an independence message to both sides of the polity. That he is open for business to the PDP and he is not going to always tow the party line to the APC. Is this fence sitting good? Time will tell. But my philisophy says no. Lets just hope its nothing more than 'pressing the flesh'.

Betrayal is an understatement.

Did you see how most of the yoloba plunkers avoided this thread,? because this news must have hit them real hard, they must be writhing in anguish and disappointment now......I am very glad saraki and dogara serves them a bitter pill- a dose of their own medicine.

Both are from Bauchi State, both are from Tafawa Balewa, Muazu's Boto and Dogara's Bogoro (their villages) are just a few minutes apart. This is to be expected, I won't be surprised if they share family connections as well

Prophetic words from Hon. Femi. They built the institution he lives in today. We are slowly developing. We are nearing the stage where realizing the impact of what we say and do will mitigate our present actions. I hope the PDP in opposition is learning how to and not to oppose.

Life after him will be like life after he was ousted in 1985. That is why you should invest more in the game rather than the players. Players come and go, it is the game that matters. What you should be asking is, how do we produce a constant stream of quality leadership. Answer - Restructure.

If your objective is just to make fun, it may be ok. But if you actually believe your narration on the picture to be true, that is something else.

That is not Aso Villa but the presidential wing of nnamdi azikiwe airport in Abuja.

Those are not northerners but presidents of Benin (in blue suit), Niger and Chad with Buhari. Buhari and Osinbajo were at the airport yesterday to receive the visiting presidents who were in Nigeria to attend the Submit on Boko Haram. You can see the flag of their countries on the centre table

Where do you expect the VP to sit in this arrangement? Benin republic president was also sitting on a separate chair (which had to be shifted nearer to his fellow presidents) as the vp. Why didn't you query that?

As a matter of Diplomatic Protocol, the VP was only allowed there because he is a host in his country. Ordinarily he wouldn't have been. The Cameroun representative was not in that room because he is a Minister of Defence but he attended the submit proper when it took off as his country valid representative while VP had to return to his office.

I just pity BAT for selling out to the north for his selfish interest..

Mind you, I'm not saying PMB is bad, but when the chips are down , Northerners stick together and sideline the south as we have started seeing

BAT is in trouble..

Good for you people.
Why are you guys simply biased in your view?

Why are u people quick to castigate the Yorubas for GEJ loss?

Does it occur to you that some of us, very educated Yorubas are not tinubu stooges and actually voted enmasse for GEJ and hate APC, and its BAT alongside its ideologies and fake Change ?

Please, for the record, I'm yoruba, liberal in thinking and not a BAT a-s-s kisser. - love GEJ and so does several other southwesterners.

Why are you Igbos quick to call us Yorubas betrayers of the south for GEJ's loss??
Does it occur to you that some of us educated, liberal-thinking Yorubas voted en-masse for GEJ?
Do you think the BAT of APC controls the minds and thoughts of all Yorubas, except his Iya Olojas and Agberos?
It pains me when people generally refer to us as betrayers when indeed the real sell-out is BAT
And I, alongside other liberal, free thinking Yoruba eagerly await his disgrace and downfall..

BULLS EYE!!!

My profound apologies bruv.

Not usually in my character to make sweeping statements, sometimes some annoying and uncouth yorubas just make it a difficult task. With the way they go about worshipping with a herd mentality attitude as if he is a god, and the manner they attack anyone who isnt in support of their 'god' and his overbearing, domineering and kleptomaniac tendencies.

I know there are some reasonable yorubas on this forum, I am glad there are more like you. Once again receive my apologies on their behalf.

Cheers!

I am dancing 'shoki' as the BAT is gradually losing his grip on key positions he is coveting, with his AKPAN-Sibajo...

The only thing I'm beginning to love about this whole unholy marriage between the ugly BAT and the North is they will cut him to sizes and then, it will dawn on him that you dont sell out cheaply and hope to buy him back same way..

It's about time he is served a dose of his medicine and he is getting it in full..

Seriously speaking that is where South west politics is getting it wrong, forgive me if u feel offended, am not going tribal, but is the trend I observed, do u know it will be easy for wike and amaechi to reconcile wholeheartedly than tinubu and bode George or obanikoro, the other time we saw Rocha's and ihedioha backslapping and laughing off, immediately after the tensed election, and Theodore orji was hugging Alex otti, rather they will like their members to resist from the main opposition party like Sabbath or Gks resisting Catholic or Anglican.
