SW voted massively for GEJ in 2011 and what benefit was it for SW?

Nothing.

That is betrayal.

And what did SE and SS get from OBJ after voting him in 1999 that made them vote massively for him again in 2003?

What is my own with that? If they could not teach him a lesson when he was seeking their votes again for 2nd term. how is that the cup of tea of anybody from SW? If you felt he did not perform or deliver on his promise to you, you should have voted him out.

You are meant to use your votes to teach politicians that failed on their promises lesson and we simply use our power to teach GEJ a lesson, so that it will serve as a deterrent to others.

This is the same thing I have said from the beginning. Do not align wiv gambari. We cannot exclude jonathan from the blame. He messed up greatly by neglecting the yorubas. He would have started wooing the yorubas long before election. Tinubu would have given the votes to jonathan like he did 2011. They would have signed a deal. And just maybe yorubas would be back to their glory in jonathans second term. It would have passed a message to the north. That the whole south can stand together.

Just look at what is happening now. I said it on fb and I am saying it here. Osinbajo eye go see wennn for Hausa hand. But osinbajo will not take half of what jonathan took. He will resign at the long run. Just watch!

"This synchronised old order cannot move Nigeria forward and we as a nation should begin to consider going back to regionalism. Let all the six zones move forward and develop at their own pace in the commonwealth of Nigeria. As this incessant national rigmarole each time Nigerians are about to forge ahead in unity is usually cancerous.".........Dele Ogundele.

For decades, ACN of SW has campaigned for return to fiscal federalism. But at the last National Conference, the southwest region canvassed for regional government but without fiscal federalism.

The SW was bullshitting by canvassing for regional government system without fiscal federalism, because regional government system without fiscal federalism does not make much difference from what we have already.

Of course, north of Nigeria can not touch regional government system or fiscal federalism, even with a very long spoon.
So why did ACN of SW region join APC merger with northern political parties? What sophistication is in there?

Let people of the SW come clear with what they want in Nigeria instead of making political slogans and rhetoric.

That is the height of ethnocentrism.

All the high hopes the SW had in this govt has crashed in quick succession.
Osubande have been treated like a house boy so far, tinubu's wing has been clipped,
Osun has become the mockery of all states begging for food and aids from all that care to listen.
The ones in lagos are crying over suppression by the ibos

Why are you guys on this forum so narrow minded?
So, you assume all Yorubas dance to the tune of the BAT and voted PMB? Well, only the agberos, shepe sellers and Iya Oloja

It is too late already.
The people that have the power now to constitutionalize regionalism are the ones that are going to suffer the most from it.
Of course, you don't expect them to implement it now.
Southern Nigeria has messed themselves up with their oversabi politics.
A crying shame indeed.

Lagos is a cosmopolitan city built and owned by all the tribes of Nigeria, more so, built by crude oil proceeds from the former eastern region of Nigeria where Igbos belong. Lagos is not owned by one tribe.

Your betrayal is your GEJ called us rascals. Highest level of desperation of the highest office in the land.

He did not have a single project to point to in SW that he did.

That is betrayal.

Thank you for your comments. I really don't understand my in laws from the SE. They are so enshrined in bitter regional rivalry with the SW yet the people of the zone has so much accommodated them. That aside, the truth the SE has always been an ally of the north since independence and all through the democratic dispensation. This is the first time they will be finding themselves in opposition due to there failure to read the times. I can assure that Ekeremadu will not have it easy on as deputy senate president. I wont be surprised if he finally decamps to APC.
