SailorXY:mate it doesn't matter ,losing a very good player for free hurts whether u hv extra cash or not ,just look at d pogba issue ,even though he was not on d first eleven squad still we're feeling d mistake we made by letting him leave for free ,we r correcting dat mistake now with d offering of a new contract to d likes of Andreas perrera ,lewandowski also brought balance n success to Dortmund or hv u forgotten? ... all am saying is if he is still undecided as to whether to stay or go den we can ease his troubles by giving him an ultimatum ,sign b4 so so so n so or we sell u ,so dat if he goes ,we can den cash in on another goalkeeper quickly ,remember we r going to play d UCL qualifiers n u don't want to play those games with a goalkeeper with a lot on his mind ...We hv done everything dia is to keep him n yet he still doesn't want to sign so I say move on n get another goalkeeper before dis shii disrupts our transfer business |

no player is bigger dan d club ,we hv sold far more greater players in d past n if DDG doesn't feel at home in OT anymore why not cash in on him n get an equally good goalkeeper as a replacement since de r not scarce |

OFFICIAL Man utd announce Memphis Depay signing for €31 million from PSV Eindhoven Welcome Memphis GGMU!!

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Tvegas(m): 5:34pm On Jun 12, 2015 |
Depay isn't worth £31million. That money could be well spent on a good striker. How much did Chelsea get Costa last season? I hope this is not another white elephant project. I wish we can collect refund on the likes of shaw, Di Maria that we wasted money on last season. |

Tvegas:how did Evra & Vidic fare in their first season? how about de Gea? how about Ferdinand? how about Fellaini? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Tvegas(m): 5:47pm On Jun 12, 2015 |
SailorXY:In the face of increasing competition, United needs to get back to winning titles or else we will join the likes of Liverpool and arsenal. These average players won't cut it. The times are changing. |

parrotibaba:the guy still has a year left on his contract for heaven's sake, he's under no obligation to sign another before the current one elapses! if he chooses to finish his bowl of maize completely before seeking another bowl then its totally within the confines of the law. what if Real are not interested & he has also decided not to sign for this year, do you now propose we release him for free?? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by olabode89(m): 5:50pm On Jun 12, 2015 |
Tvegas:€31M not pounds..... that's around £23M. That's a steal for a bright prospect like DEPAYS. It is more expensive to sign a young player with a very bright future than an established player with 2-4 years of topclass football to offer. Everton paid £20M+ for Lukaku Wolfsburg paid over £20M for Schurlle after a not so good spell at Chelsea ....bottomline €31M is a steal for Depays. It might take sometime but he is gonna light up the EPL. |

Tvegas:who are you referring to as "average players" exactly? do you think mere signing of those player you have in mind will guarantee success? Shaw made the EPL team of the year before he moved to Man United, di Maria was busy propelling Madrid to la decima & you are talking average. list those realistic world class signings on your mind & let's know them. |

SailorXY:if u r really hungry for maize n u r about finishing ur current bowl n u get offered another bowl will u reject it even when it has been offered 6 times? or worst still keep mute as DDG is currently doing? why would he want to see out his contract without signing another one if he truly wants to remain at d club? E.g if u r offered an improved offer at ur workplace n u really want to continue for d COY ,will u reject it? Nobody wants to enter his/her bosman year without any offer for d club/coy he/she works for because if he sees out his contract ,he becomes a free agent without any bargaining power for him n his coy so why reject an attractive n improved offer in favor of seeing out your current one first if truly ur heart is at d place u currently work? I'm not suggesting we push him out of d club but as d situation currently stands ,with united laying all dia cards on d table ,if he doesn't want to play ,den we close d game quickly n look for an interested player... c'est fini |

SailorXY:And what about the unnecessary distraction the whole issue has caused? (and may still cause)?? We are rebuilding the squad - if there's any inkling that a player doesn't want to be with us, he should be shown the exit door. This is man utd Abeg!! |

parrotibaba:I like your analysis. I think you do have a point. We can't let a player,no matter how highly rated,to hold us down as a club. We've got other pressing transfer business to meet up with and we don't have the luxury of time. We have got to act fast. |

Danhumprey:If we can get above 30million pounds for him we can pat ourselves on the back. How to fill his spot his the problem I don't think valdves is good enough to start, honestly I'll take a direct swap with navas rather than the money. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by olabode89(m): 10:46am On Jun 13, 2015 |
CorneliusSulla8:Direct swap ??Are u high?? Valdez is way better than Navas and we can get Cech for around 10M pounds. |

olabode89:Arsenal is on the verge of signing petr Cech . Woodward needs to sort this Degea issue asap. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CorneliusSulla8: 10:58am On Jun 13, 2015 |
olabode89:We're not going to get cech he wants to remain in london. Okay navas might not be that great but valdez just came back from a nasty injury am not sure his the answer |
