Before anyone starts blaming the president ONLY, let us remember the HDI is about the basic things for which our 36 state governors and 774 LGAs are responsible CONSTITUTIONALLY.
Things like-

- education for ALL children.
- clinics & general hospitals
- TAP water for everyone
- sanitation & keeping gutters, roadsides clean & clear of debris

I have been to more than 18 countries in world and I can tell you this .... Our poor state of development is totally caused by the north ...... They ruled for like ever but never will they want to develop their region.

I feel sorry for posters talking about I dont beleive it getting defensive. nigeria is a shit hole I realized that when I went abroad for the first time. from infrastructure, to the way average citizens are treated.

FYI Schooling in norway is free both Bsc , Msc and phd ... The Government uses The country tax for it .... Buh the living expenses for there fit make you run mad ..its estimated that a student will spend close to 200k monthly for food and miscellaneous ....

Though I know norway is the most developed country in europe ..I never knew it is number 1 in the world ..am not suprised ... Even students in norway live close to a town that shares border with sweden ..so as to buy imported stuffs in cheaper price

The topic said "Most developed country by Human development Index", cuz when it comes to the most developed country by GDP, Norway is not even in the top 20.

Don't know why most Nigerian ditch Australia for UK & USA maybe the distance because as at now the country is more fruitful than both & with its passport you can enter 168 countries without qualms.

there is no such passport on earth!
