The op is clearly right because nobody has been able to defend the rapture doctrine with the scriptures. Remember the bible says 'in vain they worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men'. The word of God should be the basis of our doctrine not what most people think if not our worship is in vain.

This is just a case of deductive argument. U had a believe (from whatever source I don't know) and u went and pick verses from scriptures that was principally talking about the the last days and not the sequence of events in the end time. There are many chapters that talks about sequence. Better still an entire book, the book of Revelation of John was dedicated to the sequence of events in the last day. But whatever u believe, so long as u partake in the common salvation, u do well.
