read changing institution or program. I made a mistake though. He just has to notify immigratiom through my CIC.

Here's part of the rule

Changing institution at the post-secondary level

If you applied for a study permit to attend a post-secondary institution after June 1, 2014, you must notify Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) via your MyCIC account every time you change institutions. You are not required to apply for a new study permit when changing institutions that are at the same level of study (e.g., from a college to a university).

For example, you must notify CIC if you submit a letter of acceptance from the University of Ottawa when you apply for your study permit but then transfer to Carleton University once you arrive in Canada.

Yes notify them not reapply like you stated. Moreover a few people simply changed their instituitions on their mycic page. I don't know it was done but it was done.

Sorry sir if you think I ignored u...I have just being contemplating. I remember some pages back when @fablady said she was refused admission into a sch becos d school accused her of plagiarism, even though she wrote her SOP herself. I also remember that we have been warned on this forum not to share SOPs becos u never can tell how far it will go. This been said, the best I can do is help you review when you are done. I believe it is better. That way, you are not confined to any one's thought process..

Before you vex, just have it in mind that it's also for your own good. Sorry if I disappointed u!

@fablady?? Not me oh. I have not been refused admission oh.

No problem then...Make do with any other one online or pchax's since you already have that.

Cheers!

gabrola:
you don't have to be. But mind you, the various samples online weren't posted by spirits; Were they not posted by individuals? Was Pchax's trv taken from him wen he posted his sop, letter of sponsorship hre? So don't gve me those excuses. Besides you don't expect me to plagiarize ur sop, letter of sponsorship dat u Av already used. God bless!

For those who think my excuses hold no water, please read the post by @justwise, @anugoson, @warrikid, @redribs quoted by @bighead1 in the link above.

We need to realise that this is a faceless forum and if anyone decides not to respond to peoples post the person cannot be flogged...but again, that attitude will not help anyone.

In a public forum as this, we should realise that people's decision is not based on whether or not they like you or don't want to help you, cos they dont even know who you are and probably never will. Please let's repect peoples opinion and decision to keep this thread going...

There are some comments that are uncalled for...

Cheers!!!

I have come to realize that, the Canadian deputy high commission in Nigeria hardly issues TRVs to 90% of applicants and that I still don't know why. A friend of mine has a UK visa and earns a good take home yet he was denied,I know of royal personality (an OBA) In Lagos who was also denied even recently a notable man was also denied and then I ask myself the obvious question, why?

Hello!!! Let's not go there friend, did u say highly trained and they issue visas to some other people who use government documents and what have you to assist people sneak into Canada. A couple of months ago, their head was summoned to explain why over 20 applicants were issued trvs and almost all of them claimed assylum. Where does the high intelligence plays a role here.

She is not being rude! Geez!!! undecided

I have also benefited from help here and still benefiting, but NOBODY's responsibility is to help me here. It is a choice...a personal one...which doesn't even translate to the real person offline.

And if anyone wants an SOP, you either be humble about how you ask or you write yours with online samples and give the gurus here to evaluate.

Team12 is not responsible for anybody here and if she decides not to give it out, it is not a crime and doesn't make her a bad person at all. And if she does, she is doing you a FAVOUR, regardless of who da fvck had given out his/her SOPs in previous threads.

We are all adults and have reasons for our decisions. Let's respect other people's choices.

It's a negative, but u can avail yourself at the vac to pick up your application package. But it's best u give at least 10 working days before you go.

It takes time 'x'. Some reply almost immediately, others after some hours/days while other may not reply.

Best of luck!

If they do not reply, does it indicate that they are not interested in your request?

Be diplomatic in your responses to people. There is a way to say 'No', and the other person does not feel bad or insulted! That's called COMMUNICATION SKILLS!!!

She might be doing you a favor, but definitely not me! Cos I have never asked anyone for sop or assistance, and I am not planning to.

My point? Be diplomatic in your responses to people. There is a way to say 'No', and the other person does not feel bad or insulted! That's called COMMUNICATION SKILLS!!!
Lol.

I have never asked for SOP here but it doesn't mean I should be beating my chest, chanting 'definitely not me!'. And a FAVOUR remains a FAVOUR, I am savvy enough not to mistake it for my RIGHT, whether I benefit from it or not.

I don't ask questions that might be deemed 'borne-out-of-laziness' because I have the patience to read through previous threads. In fact, I rarely ask and I doubt anyone knows me here. I just PM people I believe I need their guidance.

I am not attacking your person, but keep your 'diplomatic sermon' to yourself.

Even if gurus don't have 'communication skills', just get what you wanna get from them and move on.
