Did you see me mention PDP there and it was for a reason; they are not hypocrites. I mentioned the APC cos they are the majority and the party in power who promised change and a departure from the past and, alas, what we are seeing is them doing the same things they preached again. So tell me, who is the hypocrite here?
where Ike won deputy senate President were u not celebrating... Hypocrite

Hope the APC members of the National Assembly who are in the majority, will reject this allowance and ensure that it is either cancelled or reviewed downwards in the spirit of 'change' and in tune with economic realities? They are progressives and must demonstrate a radical departure from the PDP!

FOLYKAZE:
I mean where is NLC and TUC?

Nigeria have enough labourers and workers doing everything to survive in the rain and sun but make less than 200 naira a day. These people strive to live in an economy where the rich are always favoured and the looters are praised. Hardwork doesnt pay again in this country. It is either you become kidnapper, armed robber, pastor, Imam, politician or militia threatening the peace of the nation.

For goodness sake, what clothing is it that this thieves want to wear that cost that much? I mean 100 million naira of clothes? What for?

NLC and TUC are silent when we need them most. This madness got to stop. Like Fela said in his song, authoritative stealing is the money making tool of the government. This nonsesne got to stop.
i have asked the same question about the where about of the NLC..everyone is fighting to steal and not to work for the benefit of all..if we had a sane labour congress many of such anomalies like the paltry sum paid to industrious citizens who work there assss off would not occur,......

These thieves and evil men masquerading as our representatives and leaders are largely our problem.

Our armoured tanks and resources should be directed at purging Nigeria of these forces against hope as we fight to rid her of Boko Haram too!

Bro, that's the system we've created for ourselves. Very shameful and insulting. All the same, I'm not bothered. It's a known fact that the average black doesn't look beyond their stomach and narrow comforts. What a backward species of people.

But seriously, we've got issues.......Till we're willing to confront thee lazy idiots, we're in for a long and tortuous journey.

shocked iyan mi! Abasi ke eyong!
The hope for change in this country wanes by the day.
for wardrobe allowance?

If this is the change that was promised, then I think something drastic has to be done. How can leaders loot public coffers with such impunity as though they were asleep when God was sharing shame.
I said it before and I'm gon' say it again; the problem of this nation transcends what meets the eye an other senses. We are plagued with issues so deep it would take a trip to the earth's core to fix it and from the looks of it this government has planned to sit pretty. I hope we continue having hope.
Re: NASS Members To Get N8.64bn As Wardrobe Allowance Next Week by 9jatatafo(m): 11:29am On Jun 16, 2015
So the NASS members cannot use their personal money to buy clothes for themselves. What happened to the clothes they have already? I wait to see how PMB will fight corruption and cut the excesses of of our polithiefcians. Fighting corruption by PMB is a mirage.
Re: NASS Members To Get N8.64bn As Wardrobe Allowance Next Week by Nobody: 11:29am On Jun 16, 2015
-Were they naked while they were campaigning to get there? abi National assembly get uniform or dress code they must adopt for which they are been paid billions?
-what impact has that allowance had on the artisans, fashion designers and average job seekers?
-How about the National assembly workers(cleaners, clerks and security),do they also share in those allowances?
-How can they be talking about paying law makers Billions, when government workers in states are being owned months of unpaid salaries, protesting on daily basis, nothing is been done.
-How can there be this level of poverty and insecurity in the land, displaced families scattered everywhere, some less than 600 people take home billions as wardrobe, car, health and all sorts of allowances aside basis salaries.

Sometimes i wish i were never a Nigerian

Mr Man u think Buhari can just decide to cut this bogus salaries without following due process?? Not possible.. This isn't a military era..Buhari is not weak, our democratic setting is what is weak and driven by selfish interest.. Buhari will only try his best.. My hope for this country is so slim..

Yet states can't pay salaries.
I hope Ben Bruce will refuse his own? If not the thunder that will strike his hypocritical mouth will receive assignment from Lucifer.
I hope all the APC members will refuse theirs? To prove me wrong when I say that the National assembly is a frat in which its members are loyal to a common greed irrespective of the silly acronym that depicts the Special Purpose Vehicle in which they rode to power.
Just steal and keep quiet. Do not pretend that you are any different.
