So if such election could stand, hell will not break loose if we wake up one day to hear that the 59 APC Senators got to the NASS early in d morning to impeach either Saraki or Ekweremadu.

That 2/3 of a thing rarely works in dis country when it comes to impeachment bro. And if it does work, it will be in favour of d ruling party.

ode you cant impeach either of them without the 2/3 majority.Their election requires simple majority but 2/3 majority is needed for impeachment.Saraki-Ekweremadu is what you APC people would have to learn to livw with till 2019 pele

This can't work. the only way APC can get full control of the national assembly and also get numerical advantage depends on performances of the presidency. If Buhari performs very well and sells his appeal accross the borders of the South-south and south east, voters In those regions would vote for most APC senators and reps come 2019. This would even be made easier if the presidential and national - assembly elections take place on the same day. APC just has to wait till 2019, perform extremely well and beg Buhari to go for a second-term. Even though he dies there let him do well and recontest. I personally wish he outlives all of them.

It would be much more easier to remove saraki than Ekweremadu. As the removal of Ekweremadu would further alienate apc from the hearts of SE people. Not that they have anything to gain from him being the senate DSP but now that he is there apc is at lost if he is removed

All these are APC and PDP palaver. All i know is that Buhari better start to deliver his campaign promises. All we have seen so far is business as usual.

So u have not seen Speakers of State Assemblies getting impeached with less than d lawful quorum in Nigeria?

Though it will be difficult to pull it off at the Federal level, but believe me or not, it is very possible.

Mark my words; except Ekweremadu decamps to APC, plays it gentle, or Saraki decamps to d PDP with a sizable APC Senators, he (Ekweremadu) won't last that long.

God bless u. I was going to say this. It's more difficult to remove Ekweremadu than it was to elect him as the DSP. APC will have to live with this reality for as long as PDP caucus in the senate retains their number & speaks with one voice.
