Ignorance on display.

Einstein was an agnostic.

Furthermore, even if you were right, does it make all atheists fools or change the hypocrisy that you are using an atheist's website on an atheist's OS?

In your attempt to make atheism "intellectual" you want are claiming that Einstein didn't believe in God. This is what Einstein had to say in response to your likes:

"In the view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognise, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views" (The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University Press, page 214).

If your claim to authority is to cite Einstein you can see with this quote of his that you have no leg to stand on.

I have already debunked that flawed argument. There is evidence for Seun and none for God. Dont push this failed argument

Do we have to go over this again?

When I look at a building, how do I know that there was a builder? I couldn't want a better evidence that there was a builder than to have the building in front of me. I don't even need faith to know that there was a builder. All I need are eyes that can see and a brain that can think.

The same principle applies to the existence of God. When I look at creation, how can I know that there was a Creator? Creation reveals to me that there is a Creator. I couldn't want a better evidence that there is a Creator than to have the creation in front of me. I don't need faith to believe in a Creator, all I need are eyes that can see and a brain that can think.

"For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse" (Romans 1:20).

But if I want the builder to do something for me, then I need to have faith in the builder. Likewise God, for

"Without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6)- The Evidence Bible.

So, tell me how you debunked this evidence.

Agnostic not atheist

In a 1950 letter to M. Berkowitz, Einstein stated that "My position concerning God is that of an agnostic. I am convinced that a vivid consciousness of the primary importance of moral principles for the betterment and ennoblement of life does not need the idea of a law-giver, especially a law-giver who works on the basis of reward and punishment."[15] Author Anthony Alioto has referred to Einstein as an "agnostic theist"[16] sometimes called a form of deism or panentheism.

Sorry guy, this is slightly unrelated.

OLAADEGBU used existence of a house as proof of existence of a builder. This is undisputable fact, as you know. It's a logic based on true premise.

To 'debunk' this simple fact undisputably, talk about the existence of water(H2O) molecules without a source, and not the water cycle.

True atheists are strong and complete evolutionist. A water molecule must first evolve from somewhere before forming a cycle.

Sound logics must always be formulated on true premise

I love these website, alright let me give my own opinion, to the meaning of fool. First let us define the word fool, fool means to be ignorance it also mean madness, madness in genaral, it also mean an unreasonable manner or bevaviour. Now in the presence of God everybody is a fool, since man is not perfect it means that everybody is a fool before him an atheists is a fool because they do not know God while christians and other religion are also a fool because they claimed they know God and they can not give his true identity now an idol worshiper can call a person who is not worshiping his god a fool, because there are certain things which he knows while others don't know it, in that regard he can call Other person a fool because of his knowledge now humanitarialy everybody is a fool and nobody is a fool, and that depend on individual. There is something which I knows. How to do best which you don't. Have the knowledge, does that make you are a fool? If that is the case everybody is a fool, because we knows better than each other. And if oposite was the case it means that nobody is a fool. Finally let me make these known to everybody who cares to learn, anybody who says their is no God is saying that because he never have an encounter with him, because if ever have an encounter with him, you will never denial his existence, the bible says that can a man thread opon a coal of fire and that he will not be burn.

I did not mention "water", I mentioned "rain" because rain was seen as "showers from the creator" by people who thought like Olaadegbu.

Olaadedgbu's point only applies to inorganic things

There is nothing false about my premise.

Much of the universe's water is produced as a byproduct of star formation. When stars are born, their birth is accompanied by a strong outward wind of gas and dust. When this outflow of material eventually impacts the surrounding gas, the shock waves that are created compress and heat the gas. The water observed is quickly produced in this warm dense gas.[20]

Einstein was an agnostic and did not believe in a religious god. So you are foolish. Most scientists do not believe in God. nly quacks like Davidylan are creationists

the word "Fool" as used in the bible is to show the ephicacy of the Bible. The Bible is tooo truthful and can not be debunked by any way. All its teachings have always been true. From morals to prophesies. More reason it is called the manual to living on earth.
Going against the manual of yoir newly purchased electronic will be likened to foolishness. Pressing the 'play' botton on a dvd remote and expecting the cd tray to eject would be considered as foolishness. ( in all situation ignorance is not an excuse) therefore, going in the opposite direction of the bible teaching would also be considered as foolishness,as it is the one manual given to man to guide him in his very short life.

So in this instance, the bible is not pleading to man or tring to make him understand, its certain and directly instructive. That you are a fool when you don't follow.

But in most cases, we only come to understand our foolishness after the deed has been done and the repercusion has come. We start thinking back at where we got it wrong and tring to correct. Such was the case of david and betsheba. He/we get so blinded by our lost that we continue without turning back only to discouver at the latter end how wrong and foolish we've been for making that foolish move.

nope....majority of them were deists, pantheists, agnostics and atheists.......and few were actually religious. You have got to consider that they were skeptics when the theory of evolution was not popular and the internet was not even around.
Re: What Does The Bible Mean Whenever It Uses This Word? by okeyxyz(m): 3:39pm On Jun 28, 2012
okeyxyz: @santi222, it's simple actually, a fool is a disobedient person, someone who goes against his conscience, refuses to do what is right/what works and the discipline that goes with it. Yes! there's no truth/right without discipline!

As follow-up to the above, an atheist cannot be a fool based on christian doctrine and vice-versa, (or any doctrine for that matter). Every man is judged by whatever laws or values that he subjects himself to. If a christian understands a message he believes is of god but decides to go against it, then he's a fool. the same applies to everybody according to his values.

I never got this whole thing of to add weight to a position by saying that so so so and so believed it too, so therefore it must be true.

No one seems to take into account the fact that people are capable of and often do change their minds on many issues. You might get a quote from Einstein when he was feeling quite theistic and another from a couple of months later when he was overcome with an agnostic mood and use both quotes to beat each other over the head but I don't see how Einstein believing in something about God makes that thing any more true.

If you want to divert the topic and talk about rain and the water cycle you must first answer this foundational question. What is the ultimate cause of the universe?

And if want to talk about the water cylce, the Scriptures clearly spoke about it 2,000 years before scientists discovered it in the 17th century.

"He cause the vapour to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries" (Psalm 135:7).

"All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, they return again" (Ecclesiastes 1:7).

"If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth" (Ecclesiastes 11:3).

"He . . . calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the earth" (Amos 9:6).

Let us consider more of Einstein's quotes and see what kind of 'agnostic' he is:

"We know nothing about God and the world at all. All our knowledge is but the knowledge of schoolchildren. Possibly we shall know a little more than we do now. But the real nature of things, that we shall never know, never"

We can discern his insightful mind with following quote of his:

"I see a pattern, but my imagination cannot picture the maker of the pattern. I see a clock, but I cannot envision the clockmaker. The human mind is unable to conceive of the four dimensions, so how can it conceive of a God, before whom a thousand years and a thousand dimensions are as one"

And he said this:

"I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know his thoughts. The rest are details"

We can see for ourselves that Einstein was not that foolish to say that there is no God as many atheist wannabe are believing.

Here is what Isaac Newton said:

"The most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being"

And another scientist by the name, Louis Pasteur, said:

"The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator"

These and more of the foundational founders of the modern science believed in uncreated Creator. Most inventions today are only building on the foundations that the early scientists have made. The only real advances today is in the area of information technology and even this this had been prophesied in the Scriptures that knowledge shall be increased.

Those Whom God Calls Fools

"Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? is not He thy father that hath bought thee? hath He not made thee, and established thee" (Deuteronomy 32:6)

This rebuke was by Moses, as he warned the people of God just before their entrance into the Promised Land. It contains the first use of the Hebrew nabal (translated "fool" or "foolish"wink in the Bible. Here it is applied to God's chosen people after they had been redeemed out of Egyptian slavery by God. This implies that the most foolish of all people are those who have known about God and His great salvation and yet have turned away from His Word.

Paul writes in similar scathing terms of those who had known of God's great deliverance of their fathers from the evil world before the Flood, and yet then abandoned Him for idolatry. "When they knew God, . . . their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1:21-22).

David used the same word about those who decide they can explain things without God, just as do so many intellectuals in modern America. "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. . . . Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God" (Psalm 53:1,4).

Even prophets and preachers can become fools if they follow their own wisdom instead of God's Word. "Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!" (Ezekiel 13:3).

Jesus similarly rebuked even those He dearly loved, because they were surprised and discouraged when He was crucified. "O fools," He said, because they had been "slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken" (Luke 24:25). God help us to maintain believing hearts, not foolish hearts, as we serve Him! HMM

A fool, according to Psalm 14:1, is an atheist.

any other definition?
Re: What Does The Bible Mean Whenever It Uses This Word? by Scholar8200(m): 8:50am On Jun 19, 2015
A fool is:
1. Any one who is willingly ignorant of that which he should not be (or ignorant as a result of failing to discern that which should be obvious to the studious) ; he who is inadvertently ignorant is called simple.
2. Any one who lives for time only and makes no provision for his eternal destination.
3. One who adopts a claim simply because it pleases him even if that claim is contradicted severally by other portions of the Truth.
4. One who in his choices appears to have signed a pact with the enemy of his soul and he hastens himself in that direction.
etc

Now none of this position is permanent;only God knows the heart hence a man cannot call another a fool because:
i) A fool today may cease to be so tomorrow;
ii) A wise man today may become a fool tomorrow;
iii) Point ii shows that humility demands that we be cautious since not all conditions are permanent;
iv) At one time or the other a person was a fool,so rather than judging, meekness demands intercession.
