Most genuine falling are mainly due to demonic influence or an overpowering of a more receptive spirit, that is why girls fall more because they are spiritually more receptive then men

You r ryte , bro! Falling under d anointing involves the submission of a spirit to a higher vessel. Some pple get very strong and non-receptive spirit. The Op and myself are good examples. Although I av felt the sensation severally.
Let me also add that your eyes must be closed and your mind in a receptive state.

This falling down thing sef. Jesus (our utmost example) never did what these Pastors are doing these days. I've never fallen when touched. I remember our overseer pushing me so hard. I immediately bind him and stood my ground.

I'm not a fan of touching. Preach the word and let me go home. Healing comes from God directly. ".....by His strpes we were healed"

This is not the 10th time it is happening to me. Even when I was in school, the student pastor would touch us all and only a few of us wouldn't fall.

The whole thing looks like a plan sort of. Maybe some people fall down intentionally? What could be happening? Is it that I'm possesd of what? Maybe I wasn't in spirit, I guess?

I need your help, friends. Only serious answers will be appreciated.

This phenomenon of having hands laid on you and then falling backwards is called being slain in the spirit (google 'slain In the spirit').

According to some theologians, the only recorded instance in the bible where people fell backwards was when they came to arrest Jesus. The rest of the Instances in the bible are where people fell forward in worship and they conclude therefore that falling backwards or being slain in the spirit can be a sign of God's judgement or of sin.

I wouldn't feel bad if I were you. I have also never fallen backwards when prayed for.

My dear, God is not a methodist that one can put or assign a method to His ways. In the days of old. When people come under the anointing, they exhibit different characteristics ranging from speaking in tongues to prophesying as can be seen in both the old and new testaments. Sometimes again too, no visible reaction comes from those that are under the anointing.

I dont subscribe to the experience of falling under the anoiting. When hands are laid on me or I experience an atmoshere of the anoiting, I dont expect or desire to fall.I prefer to rise under the anoiting.
Bishop Oyedepo said "You dont fall under the anoiting, you should rise instead"
According to the late Benson Idahosa, most people that fall under the anoiting have something not right in them.(paraphrased)
